  I arrived early on my check-in day around 9:30 AM from the train station in Emeryville. I asked the person at the front desk if I could check in a bit early if a room was available. She said she would notify Housekeeping when one was available and within a hour one was and I was very happy since I had not got much sleep on the train, Thanks - ... what people say » I made it to the BART station in less than 10 minutes. Close to many good dinner places. The room was clean. This place is good if you need a quick place to sleep close San Francisco. Hotels in the City charge up to $50/day to park. Parking at La Quinta was free and I enjoyed the hassle free ride on Bart.

  It's near Downtown Berkeley Bart station, so it's quite convenient. The breakfast, though lack in varieties, served its purpose. The staff was Ok. - Liked it all. Very convenient to places we needed to go to. Whenever we went out and came back it was like returning home.
