  I've traveled to Dubai on many occasions but have always stayed with family. This was the first time we chose to stay at a hotel, and I must say choosing Ocean View Hotel was a good decision. I read many reviews (mostly positive) before booking the Superior double room with sea-view (breakfast included), and I think all our expectations were perfe... what people say » ctly met. The facilities in the hotel were just right for what we were looking for on our holiday. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that don't deserve to - I had a superb stay, from the check in at 1030 am, they already have my booking slip and have my room ready, while we are checking in they offered us towels to freshen up, juices and cookies. When we get inside the room, everything is what I have expected, the ocean view is serene. We had a room service and they delivered our food on the rack to keep it hot. My husband likes the gym so much. They offer you good towels in the gym and in the pool (no need to be carrying your towel from the room).

  We could have breakfast at The Terrace restaurant in the Arabic part of the restaurant, which was great at this time of year because they had the windows open. Very nice breakfast. Our suite had a covered balcony with a table and two chairs. It was very pleasant to sit there. The views of the sea, Burj Dubai and parts of the Palm Jumeirah were gr... what people say » eat. And there wasn't any smell of petrol as there's no road close to the hotel on the seaside. - I stayed on the 40th Floor in one of the executive rooms with access to the executive lounge for breakfast and afternoon tea/coffee and sandwiches. Also included free wifi and the staff in the executive lounge were very friendly and helpful. I will return to the Gloria on my next trip. They also arranged my airport transfer both ways.

Well appointed and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, ipod docking station, complimentary still water replenished daily. Lovely bathroom with bathtub, shower and rain-shower facilities. High speed internet is quite expensive AED 450 / week but worked very well - 9Mbps down/up. Good gym facilities with brand new equipment, there is also rooftop swimming pool. Rochelle - who did our check-out, she has - The staff at the Media One Hotel was absolutely great, from the very moment we walked in until the day we left. The Operations Manager, Luke James was so very helpful and the concierges and door man were so friendly. The facilities were very clean and neatly decorated. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much and would definitely go back.

Lovely facilities and room was great after spending a month in Europe in small rooms with small bathrooms. Very nice location of Dubai and heart of Tecom. - the staff were helpful and friendly. when i wanted to get a hire car they were happy to help with finding me one. the room was large and clean though a little cold but you have control over the A/C so can turn it down. There are plenty of plug sockets with international sockets so no need for a travel adapter. TV is aplenty. Food at the breakfast buffet was fresh and had a good spread.
