The hotel room was very spacious, very clean and lovely decoration. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help. We asked for a cot and some extra towels and they got them for us straight away. I would definetely recommend this hotel and would stay again. Execellent size of room and bathroom. Very helpful staff, good location, close to train station, Hotel cleanliness very good.

Convenient location. the room.Unfortnately there is nothing positive to say about my stay I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. The only reason for booking this hotel is the location to the office where the meeting is held monthly and now there is another hotel near in the location we will use that in future. the only drawback was that the milk, sugar tea and coffee there was only enough for one cup each i.e. 2 milk, 2,sugars 2 coffees and 2 teabags. Walls must be made of paper as the couple next door argued all night and kept us awake. Wifi access is too costly.hidden costs that were not advertised on the web site. noise from hotel power building. Gym was not open and no explanation was given.Breakfast was expensive. lack of a proper wardrobe and lack of pillers for bed,only two supplied for double bed.parking charge for carpark,wrong for residents ?. I was told that I could have breakfast for £10 extra for myself and 2 children. The receptionist had made a mistake, I was charged £30 in the restaurant for 2 coffees, 3 glasses of Juice and 2 bowls of cereal. (I dont eat breakfast!!). bar area. When I arrived at the hotel I had a lot of trouble with my booking.I Wastold my booking was not on the system and was not valid at first, aftertoo much time spent waiting for the issue to be resolved I finally got aroom. The staff that ,orning could have been a little my professionalinstead of trying to shift the blame for the booking mistake to myself.That dissapointed me. You upset my guests by charging them to park their cars in your car park. They found this unacceptable. I paid for three rooms for my guests. Access to bar in evening despite registering credit card we were unable to obtain drinks. Also room card would not work in vending machine and bar was not attended despite a demand from residents. Several left without being served including ourselves. Stuffy and noisy from the traffic. Front desk poor, service poor, problems with the room key, vending machine, breakfast service, my booking didn't even register with them. They had to make a whole new booking. Problems with charging credit card, one that they had already taken an authority out of. A fellow customer paid to use the car park, only to find out that the boom gate was broken therefore anyone could access this. Terrible service, noise at night, no staff, food or any kind of organisation or management at breakfast. At the time of the stay we were informed that there was no hot water so therefore could not have a shower as the boiler was in need of repair. The restaurant where breakfast was being served was extremely cold and most guests were wearing coats also the coffee machine had broken. When checking in was given key to a room which was already occupied and told reception who did not seem to be concern.

From the North (m1): m1 Junction 6. Turn left onto dual carriageway. Take left filter lane at second set of traffic lights to a412, St Albans Road. Take the second exit off the next roundabout and* follow this road through several sets of traffic lights. Go over Railway Bridge and through the next set of traffic lights. The hotel is on the left-hand side, entrance in Wellington Road. From the South (M1): M1 Junction 5. Take the second exit off the roundabout to North Watford. At the next roundabout take the first exit, A412, St Albans Road, and follow directions from North (M1), as above*. From the West (Heathrow Airport M25): M25 Junction 19, to Hunston Bridge roundabout. Take the third exit off, A411 Hempstead Road, signposted Watford, *Take the second exit off the roundabout and the first exit off the next roundabout and join St Albans Road. Immediately cross dual carriageway and turn right at traffic lights, follow signs for Watford Junction Station. Follow road to Station roundabout and double back on yourself to St Albans Road. The hotel is on the left hand side, entrance in Wellington Road. From the East (Dartford Tunnel M25): M25 Junction 20. Turn left onto dual carriageway A41 signposted Watford to Hunton Bridge roundabout. Take the second exit, A411 Hempsted Road and follow directions from the West (M25) as above*.
