The staff were very welcoming and friendly, homebaked scones and jam on arrival with tea/coffee in own snug with log burning fire roaring, looking out over countryside, very relaxing, would highly recommend a stay there, and the breakfast was superb! We were visiting family who live nearby, and will definitely stay there again.

Owners really put themselves out for me, waiting up until midnight as I didn't arrive until then. Room was lovely, but would have been a squeeze for two. Everything in there was perfect, fresh water as well as snacks and tea making facilities. Fresh flowers in the room.
We were very well looked after and the accommodation itself was beautiful, topped only by the incredible countryside surroundings. The breakfast was made from fresh, local produce and nothing was too much trouble. I couldn't recommend the place highly enough.

The surroundings are very quiet. The people at the cottage are friendly and hospitable. We were treated to a warm welcome with scones and preserves.

We stayed here for a couple of days during half term with our litle one (3 yesrs old) and would definitely reccommend it!
The owners are lovely, keen on helping you with all you may need, but at the same time respectful of your privacy. Rooms are tidy, clean and very comfortable. You get fresh water, tea, coffee and snacks, fresh flower, TV and a lovely bath! Breakfast is excellent and you can eat as much as you like.

The hand-held shower head and lack of a shower curtain.
A shower curtain would have been useful to avoid spraying water everywhere when trying to use the hand held shower.

The Cottage is on a side street off the main road, but, if you get there at night, there are no street lights, and no signage, so it's a bit tricky to find! :(.
Phone was down so no wi fi. Loud traffic noise even at the back of the house. Sat nav takes you to the wrong house.
