The award-winning Conservatory Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day of the year, serving modern British food. A full Wiltshire breakfast, with ingredients sourced from within 2 miles of the hotel, is served.
The rooms all have an en suite bathroom with bath, shower and a haidryer. They also include a digital TV, CD player and tea/coffee tray, fresh fruit and home-made shortbread.
Located in the Saxon village of Purton, just 10 minutes’ drive from junction 16 of the M4, The Pear Tree is also about 20 minutes’ drive from Cirencester and Malmesbury, and offers free parking.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome.
The hotel was a lovely old country house, rich in history and surrounded by well cared for gardens. I would recommend this hotel as perfect for a weekend break to enjoy the English countryside and relax with a gourmet meal that is extremely good value for money. Note that If you have dogs, they were welcomed as well and this made the hotel even more homlier in a way - nice to see!. all reviews
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the dinner at the Conservatory Restaurant was excellent. The hotel is ideally located for a visit to the South Cotswolds, has a wonderful large garden and also has its own vineyard.
The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Room was nice and clean and the food was very good.

The bed was a small double and the pillows & mattress were very soft.
The bathroom decor was looking tired; the fittings were rather dated and there were a few broken tiles. However, the rest of the experience was so nice, it did not detract from a lovely stay.

Wifi poor everywhere except inside near in e lounge - even though supposed to work in room - never did.
Bed matressess are beyond their sell by date and need upgrading.

Poor satellite coverage meant we lost direction on one or two instances close to the hotel. More road signs?
