This Premier Inn is quite a difficult one to find, but after a phonecall the lovely Kayla came and found me and escorted me back to the hotel. This is customer service par excellence! My stay was good and was incredibly convenient for the Durham University campus. The room was absolutely mint clean. no faults. No fuss, it was a pleasant experience to stay. Good value for money. Easy to find. We came in a large vintage truck and there was plenty of room to park.

Can't think of anything. I did try to call my sister in her room, but realised there was no phone. Breakfast poor. Cold option ok but hot meal was lukewarm and unappetising . Coffee was stewed and cold. Single long corridor, my room is right at the end. More exercise. Hot water takes a while to come. Otherwise, fine. Unfortunately Premier Inn do tend to be more expensive than other budget hotels. needs swiming pool. The beefeater next door needs understand the importance of customer service. Standing for 15 to 20 minutes at the desk waiting to be given a table each night is far from quality service. Travelling by train I have no alternative but to use this facility. The quality of the food in the pub next door. May have just made a bad choice though. 3rd bed in family room not very comfortable. Same when we stayed at PI in Manchester. slow unhelpful staff in beefeater. noisy corridor people making lots of noise and car park noise. Unfortunately my room must have been the furthest from reception and the adjoining Beefeater!. WIFI didn't work at all. Hotel corridors cool Couldn't bedroom temp above 20c Paying for wi fi. Location .....found it very difficult to find more info on routes would be very very helpful.......do not possess sat nav...!!!!!!. Room was dump and there was a fungi smell All hot breakfast food was not on buffet but had to be ordered separately and came in small portions by default.
