Quite simply the nicest hotel we've stayed at. Friendly staff, stunning views (from bedroom/balcony, restaurant and gardens/terrace) and nice comfortable rooms. It's most definitely a hotel you can relax in and you feel very much like a "house guest" rather than just a paying customer. Would stay there again tomorrow!. Just about everything. Reception was almost like visiting friends, our room ideal, delightful choice of breakfasts. Lunches/evening meals were very good when required.Staff were very friendly and helpful without being cloying.Last, but not least, the fabulous balcony and stunning view over St Brelade.
all reviews » The suite was spacious and the bed comfortable. The view from the patio doors is spectacular. The hotel is located with easy access to the island bus service and has guest parking. Breakfasts were good and the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. The quiet location, the good standard of facilities, the friendly and helpful reception staff, and most bar staff. The swimming pool area and supply of towels. The restaurant was good with wonderful views of the bay. There was nothing to dislike.We have stayed with you on several previous occasions .We have always found a pleasant welcome and very pleasant staff and on this occasion especially 'Jhonny'.Hope to see you all again. The hotel was excellent with delicious food and very freindly and helpful staff. The views were stunning from the restaurant and I wish I had booked a sea view room as the room we had overlooked the car park. The staff very helpful and friendly. The staff gave the impression that we were there to please them, rather than the other way round!! Officious and short-tempered at times. The hotel location was a ten minute walk down to the beach, but the walk back took about 20 minutes as it was all up a very steep hill. It was so steep it put me off visiting the beach, but that was the only negative feature. We had to change rooms for one night. Bit confusing for my mother but they moved us no problem just why.... We had been informed before we stayed. Steep hill climb back from beach, difficult when overeaten. Bright hall light penetrating through entire doorjamb all night. Hotel on a steep hill. Walking down is fine but getting back up is a challenge. Be prepared to either hire a car or get taxis. However do not let this put you off as its worth the location for the view alone. being really picky, the cooked breakfast was served at table but if you wanted ketchup they didn't bring it to your table, you had to go up to the counter to get it - now that's being picky :). Nothing to dislike. only staying 2 nights sat - mon and having unusual bad weather on the sunday.....none of the fault of hotel obviously. Nothing. Nothing. The view from the room was not that exciting- since turned to the other side. But this is normal, you can't have all of them with the view to bay :-), so not a real negative. Some parts not quite ready for customers eg changing room and spa/sauna. Nothing. No complaints.
