Orles Barn is a short walk over the river from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. It has easy access to main routes around the Wye Valley.
All rooms include 22-inch LCD TVs, with Freeview channels and DVD players. You will also find iPod docking stations, comfortable chairs and well-lit work desks.
Orles Barn is run by a friendly husband-and-wife team. There is a huge enclosed, sunny garden.

Kelly and Richard were so friendly and made us feel at home with a muchneeded pot of tea on arrival. The food was delicious; homemade localproduce is just what we love. We sat in the garden after breakfast andfound it so relaxing we stayed another night! We had a lovely time andwould highly recommend Orles Barn with hosts like Kelly and Richard whomade us feel completely at ease.The most friendly hotel we have ever stayed in .It was just like staying with old friends with nothing too much trouble and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.the proprietors Kelly and Richard deserve to make a real sucess of their venture because their heart and soul is most certainly in it.This is a really friendly hotel with a real family atmosphere. Suspect that there has been a recent change of ownership although nothing was stated. Could this affect the futre running of the hotel?. Returning home on Sunday night at 10.30pm to find that they hadclosed the bar and locked the hotel up when we would have expected tohave a drink. the menu was a bit basic and could do with a greater choice. Absolutely not !!!!. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.I am tall and tended to bang my head on the low wooden beams but that is part of the charm of the place so not really a complaint. The bathroom was slightly dated but this is NOT a criticism. We were in a room at the back which was fine, but the rooms at front of the hotel could be noisy from nearby main road. Not so much didn't like, but would like to see what they do to the style and decor, to make it more up-to-date and aesthetic.Excessive noise (especially at night) from main highway adjacent to hotel. Moving to room at rear greatly improved situation..towels need renewing. We booked a pet friendly hotel to take our dog but room was too small
and the dog was restricted to room only.Bedrooms are small, basic but clean - due for refurbishment.Despite its aa food rating, evening dinner was disappointing and notreally up to the anticipated standard though it was reasonably priced.
