    Comfortable cottage with small but nice kitchen. Excellent location close to sea and Brodick. Lots to see and do nearby. My children (8 and 11) liked the space outside including the tennis court. - Lovely cottage. Very clean and in a great location above lamlash.

    The view of the harbour from my room. The hotel was central - very near rail and ferry links. The accommodation was compact and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, but unobtrusive - a homely hotel with a pleasant pub / bar. - the hospitallity was excellent from staff and there local clientell.....nothing was any bother to them ,,,to... what people say » ensure your comfort....and the food was freshly cooked everytime which i really enjoyed......will be returning soon

    Everything was 1st class. Spotlessly clean guest house, friendly owner and staff, lovely comfortable bedroom with very large separate bathroom. The extras in the bedroom added a lovely touch - usual tea and coffee making facilities but also with a cafetiere, boiled sweets, small fridge in room, iron and ironing board - everything you could wish fo... what people say » r. The choice of breakfast is amazing for a small establishment and the food was lovely - all freshly made. Excellent location - minutes from beach or - The room is bright and clean. Although we had an external bathroom, there were no complaints at all because the bathroom was really huge. Quite a selection of complementry drinks in the room. Free bottle of mineral water which is uncommon for bed and breakfast. The guest house is very homely and tastefully decorated. The much ravelled about eggs benedict is really awesome, a good selection of cerals and fruits too. No complains at all. Beautiful beach walking distance away.

    Our host was very friendly and accomodating. She made a lovely supper for us the first night which we ordered ahead. We were grateful to have a room where our two daughters (12 and 13) could also sleep, though a bit cozy, it was economical and quite satisfactory for our two nights there. Good distance from the - It was our first trip with our 6 week old baby - the hotel could not have been more welcoming! As it is a high standard of formal dining offered at the hotel we were uncomfortable taking our baby in to the dining room, the staff set up a small private dining experience for us so we could still have a lovely dinner but not disturb other guests!     We had a warm welcome after a very stressful drive in snowy conditions. Our car ran off the road! We phoned ahead to explain we would be late. We eventually arrived after midnight and were welcomed. We felt we had arrived at a warm and safe haven. We had a long sleep in the next morning to recover from our ordeal. Oban is a very pretty town, especially in the - Very good price and excellent location close to the town centre. The house was lovely and warm- essential in the winter months. The room had everything you need and coffee as well. They were very friendly and gave us all the information we wanted in a helpful manner.

    We spent only one night in this hotel but I would definetely recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow. We had a small room with shared bathroom. Both room and the bathroom were very clean. For this price it was a good deal.     We booked 3 rooms at the last minute and did not notice that the rooms were not en-suite. We were concerned as we had an 80 year old solo lady in our party but everything was fine. Nice clean guest house and very nice owners. Good Scottish breakfast to send us on our way. - Stayed in two separate rooms with adult son .Accommodation budget but... what people say » clean and comfortable enough.     We liked the atmosphere, cosy, warm and friendly; great food. Helpful staff. Amazing location.     We were placed in Room 5 - what an fantastic room - thankyou, just a simple point but it displays the friendliness of your reception personnel. My wife and myself went to breakfast. We then met some friends who were residents in the hotel who had missed breakfast. The gentleman on reception arranged tea and toast for which there was no charge. This... what people say » was greatly appreciated on a very wet and windy morning - If you like 'country house' style hotels, yet want to be right on the coast and almost in the centre of a reasonably sized town, this is the place for you. Pleasant staff, good food, comfortable hotel with a great deal of charm - altogether great value for money!
