  The hotel is extremely good value and was very quiet indeed in the Coach House annex. It is a quite splendid building and the baronial hall excellent for both dinner and breakfast.   As we drove up the very long driveway, we turned the corner and the modern part of Crown Plaza and traditional Heythrop Hall came into view - spectacular! I'd booked for a party of 7, myself, husband, 3 children aged 17, 14 and 11 plus my parents for my mother's 70th birthday. We were all impressed and my mum thought it a wonderful birthday surpri... what people say » se. We did the 1 and 2 mile walks around the hotel's picturesque grounds. My eldest son used the gym and all the children used the swimming pool. Free - I cannot say enough about the staff at The Heythrop Hall and the Crown Plaza. Without exception every one was so helpful, pleasant, and kind. You MUST let your staff know that they are doing a FAB job. The room we had at the Crown Plaza was really comfortable and plush. The choice of places to eat was also excellent as we didn't want to be tied to a set time to eat, so ate in the Brassey bar. Excellent and again the staff were TOPS. Will certainly be coming again and the best thing is its on
