Very efficient friendly welcome. Off street parking and map of town given and suggested route to walk. Clean quiet comfortable bedroom. Not the 4-poster in the pic as I was a single guest! Curtains were ... what people say » nice and dark so no light came in. Other guests (a hockey team) very charming and congenial. Will definitely return. Thank you Beverley and Karen. - We decided on Arden House after reading other reviews on letsbookhotel.com. We were not disappointed. Beverley was a lovely friendly host and gave us all relevant information when we arrived to make our stay most enjoyable. We could not fault the room, food or the other people who were staying there as we made us of the excellent honesty bar after we returned from our nights out in Harrogate. A lovely and enjoyable experience all round.

We found the rooms to be comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly who went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was excellent. My only 'complaint' was they ran out of the lamb which we were all looking forward to after walking 15 miles :o( However, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we chose. We would highly recommend The Plough to anyone who is thinking of staying there,
