    was only in the isle of man working unfortunately but this hotel was exceptional, the staff faultless, hotel was very clean in a good location right on sea front and the breakfast was amazing the menu was extensive and you could have anything i had full manx and it was cooked to perfection. hopefully i will get back to Douglas for a break and wil... what people say » l definitely be staying at this hotel.Even the parking wasn't an issue as you can park outside overnight and all day in the car park 100 yds away for - This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we come we will definitely s

    We received an extremely friendly welcome and the staff were friendlythroughout our stay. Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming and hadall the facilities needed. Downstairs in the reception area there is awelcoming lounge / bar where you can sit and watch tv, chat, read a bookand generally relax.     The rooms were clean and spacious, lovely big bed, lots of tea, coffee available in the room including bottled water. Staff were excellent friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Very welcoming hosts.     Friendly, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The Hotel was very comfortable, within easy walking distance from the ferry port and shops. - The staff were some of the friendliest I have met in my many years of travelling and were always willing to go that extra mile.

    The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day. The Thai restaurant was good quality -you just need to book in advance as we couldn't even get a table but ordered downstairs and they brought it to our room. The view as we were upgraded was beautiful of the sea.     The Executive double room was large and comfortable. I usually stay in an Atrium room at this hotel but that option wasn't available via letsbookhotel.com - but I was happy with the allocated room. Sometimes Atrium rooms are a bit noisy (it's an open plan arrangement so if someone else has their balcony door open and the tv playing loudly, the noi... what people say » se spreads around) but that was not a problem in this room. - Food was excellent including the 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which gives the whole place a happy atmosphere. Lovely touch also of being able to have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room and bottled water too.

    Great that they do single occupancy discounts in double rooms (being able to search for hotels who do would be something your site could add!) The superior room I had (404) was spacious and interesting (unlike the standard fare of most hotel rooms) - My wife enjoyed our stay so much that we have now recommended to family and friends.

    Cindy the owner / operator is a fantastic hostess. She'll tell you herself that the hotel is "not the Ritz, it's a budget hotel" and "no frills but plenty of fuss" but she's lovely, ensures that all guests are very well looked after and made to feel at home and part of the family. Douglas is the best place to base yourself if you are going to the Isle of Man as you can easily get to the many historic attractions around th - this B&B is on the sea front at the shops end of Douglas prom. The rooms are spacious and clean and most have en-suite but I would ask to make sure. Cindy, the owner is on call 24/7 and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. Breakfast at just £5.00 is superb and you can eat as much as you want. She lets you bring take aways into the kitchen where you can use her facilities eg plates cups knives etc. She tells you on arrival that this is your home for the next few days so you can tr
