The Elgano exceeded all expectations. My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre. Immediately I thought the hotel was - I really loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and cosy. Breakfast was rich - in comparison to what I was used to in London. A good choice from cereals, toasts with jam and English breakfast. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the university and from the city center, so you can walk everywhere (except for Cardiff Bay, that's a bit further away but there's regular train service in the city). We stayed in a coach house accross the yard which was an abs
