staff very helpful and attentive to needs of young children . food really excellent and house wine very good value and delicious
our room was comfortable with an excellent mattress and thick curtains and the bathroom had a good sized bath with lots of hot water and large fluffy towels and dressing gowns - altogether a most successful stay. -

Beautiful rooms with all the little extras and home comforts. A real treat, lovely food, we couldn't fault anything. Thankyou Patricks for making us feel so special.

We were upgraded to the master suite for the same rate we were paying, as there was some confusion over our booking. When we opened the door we were wowed, absolutley fantastic view over Cardiff Bay and the room was very comfortable and quite. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, will be going back and will recommend to friends and family.
... what people say » Breakfast was lovely too. The best weekend thanku - The staff were particularly helpful with information for my grand daughter related to 'Doctor Who' . This was the reason for our visit to Cardiff. As a birthday present for a teenager who is mad about the programme. She had a lovely chat to your doormen who seem very knowlegable about the whole subject. The rooms have a wonderful veiw.

Fantastic country venue. Flowers, shrubs etc in full bloom and well cared for. Enjoyed a great breakfast outdoors. Also to relax by the lake in evening .wifi free and staff friendly n helpful. Dinner at Britannia inn reccomended by oldwalls staff was tasty local produce , but reasonably priced. wonderful view from deck -

The warm and friendly welcome - we were treated as friends by Phillipa and Glyn. The breakfasts cooked by Phillipa were tasty and delicious, and Phillipa remembered from the first day what we liked. Simply everything. This was the best stay of our trip so far. We were made so welcome, and felt like we were part of a special family. Went to local pubs for dinner and were looked after like royalty after Phillipa made the bookings for us. Great food both nights. We will be returning, as this is just a magic place to relax. The breakfast was simply superb and the best of everything. Worth every minute of a fantastic stay.

We were on a trip to Somerset and South Wales and stayed on three hotels. This was by far the best, the owners are really helpful and friendly. We were treated as locals by them. Rooms are big and beautifully decorated, bright and airy with lovely linen. Dinner was recommended by a local and the food was fantastic, best meal of the holiday. W

1. The location is very good for a quiet holiday. Two minutes walk from cafe overlooking Langlands Bay.But only five minutes by car from the busier Mumbles and picturesque Swansea Bay.
2. The owners were very friendly and eager to help.
3. For a small hotel a surprisingly good quality restaurant in the evening.
4. I can understand why this hotel was a previous winner of the best small hotel in the Swansea area.

Their location was brilliant and the security and parking at the apartments was excellent. The apartments were very nice, modern and spacious. I will definately use them again. - easy access to cardiff bay,home from home comforts, excellent facilities .would definitely stay here again.
