Every single thing was spot on, beautifully clean, the room, decor, the staff, even breakfast. Nice and close to the sea front, town centre and the unmissable Kent caverns. The Briarfields was extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and welcoming and made you feel very at ease. There was also a vast selection for breakfast cooked to perfection and the hosts were very accommodating with special requests. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Briarfields if you are planning a stay in Torquay.

Great location- a few minute walk to the beach and Town center
Room- very clean, big enough, fresh bottled water replaced daily, nice shower, tea facilities/biscuits/hair dryers etc.
Breakfast- served promptly, as well as the cooked option there is a self serve table option too, fresh fruit, plates of mango/grapefruit etc, selection of cereal, juice. Plenty of variety as well as the cooked menu available.

We stayed in the four poster room with view down the hill into the bay from the window. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was a good wide choice of traditional British, with a clean and bright dining area. All in, we seriously enjoyed our stay.

Owners Carl and Sharon were very friendly and welcoming. Property was exceptionally clean and room was spacious. Breakfast was great, always freshly cooked, with multiple choices available. We, and especially our 4 year old grandaughter, were well looked after. Location was close to the seafront, and an easy walk to the shops and train station. A very enjoyable stay.

Loved our room at the top, with added bonus of sink, microwave and fridge! We have a little cocker spaniel so this was ideal for preparing her food, also as we were tired and didn't fancy going out to eat, we could heat up a ready meal in our room. Bed so comfy, nice big TV, bathroom lovely with great shower. Breakfast nice, Carla and the staff absolutely lovely. Will be back!
