    Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend anyone staying in Torquay to look them up. - the owners were very hospitable and friendly.     We enjoyed our short break immensely. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, and were always recognised when we came into the hotel by the staff on duty.     Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A real treat. - can't fault it. a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. the attention to detail for is great, champagn on arrival, umbrella and welly boots for country walks, loads of facilities. the complimentary wine tasting is a great way to start your evening.

    The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - anywhere. Lovely room - great hospitality tray including your own fresh coffee. Bathroom was great - plug/combined tap was a bit hard to fathom at first but modern bathroom appliances are a steep learning curve for some and easy for others. The owners were friendly and welcoming and made you feel very at ease. There was also a vast selection for breakfast cooked to perfection and the hosts were very accommodating with special requests. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Briarfields if you are planning a stay in Torquay.

Bathrooms are fitted to a very high standard and stocked with decent quantities of quality products.     We stayed for one night and got engaged here! It was so romantic and perfect and incredibly cute that it just felt right.     It was a pleasure to stay at the Linden House. My partner and I were made so welcome from the start and made to feel like special guests. the bedroom was delightful in all respects and the home made full English breakfast was of 5 star quality.     Every single thing was spot on, beautifully clean, the room, decor, the staff, even breakfast. Nice and close to the sea front, town centre and the unmissable Kent caverns.     lovely hotel based in an old pub, the staff were all very helpful, friendly and accomodating, the room was cosy, warm, clean and comfy and quiet (room 21), liked the allocated parking system which is included with all superior rooms and made for a stress free arrival and stay, the food in the bar/restaurant was good quality and interesting, would... what people say » recommend if you intend to eat in that you book beforehand and preferably in the morning as its open to non residents and seemed to be popular to loc - First impressions of the 3 Crowns were of the friendliness of the staff and the lovely bar area and dining room, our room was smart clean with an adequate ensuite although the shower was rather small. The food was superb with the waitresses attending with efficiency and good humour. My partner and I had a wonderful two day stay, wish it could have been longer.
