    Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in. When booking the hotel I was expecting a very staid environement and was pleasantly suprised by the contemporary feel to the hotel. - Staff were exceptio... what people say » nal. I fell over outside of the hotel and was looked after very well from most of the staff including the Manager.

    The friendliness, The staff dealt quickly to relocate our room toaccomodate my fear of lifts!! The location for town and theatre wasexcellent. The food and room service was very commendable.     The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

    Staff (especially reception) were helpful and friendly. Room, although small, was well appointed and beds very comfortable. Good hot showers. Great location in Exeter. And a better rate than other, most defiitely inferior, hotels and BandB's in the area. - My wife by chance met Michael Caines, who was so polite--we love his food.Have to say the hot... what people say » el was out of our price bracket, but my wife needed spoiling!
