    Thru web site we were charged excellent room rate for very comfortable bedroom in main house (first visit we stayed in the Clocktower) extremely relaxing sitting room set in lovely gardens. Great breakfast & wonderful location. Our friends, 2 other couples also stayed the weekend & were full of praise for Cantley Hall Hotels. As we have go... what people say » od friends in Wokingham, it certainly will not be our last visit. - Cantley House is a gorgeous building with bags of character and (when I stayed) blissfully quiet. There is an ongoing refurb programme, with completed areas finished to a high standard; the owners' love for the building is apparent. Staff were efficient, friendly and approachable and the room well stocked with fluffy towels, robes, and the usual tea/coffee iron etc.

    It was exceptionally easy from beginning to end with regards to the booking and the room which was perfect - the massive clean white towels, dressing gown and sheets are exactly what we needed after a days cycling - courtesy and efficiency of staff.     Proximity to train and restaurants in Reading. Power was out when we arrived due to problem in area. Staff was very helpful and someone escorted us to our room. We did get a key later when the computers could initialize keycards once again. But we wondered what would happen if the power did not come back on while we were there.     Reception staff very helpful and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Very good size room for price we paid. lots of fluffy white towels.Comfy bed. - Good size family room, very quiet considering how close to the motorway it is.

    This is a great pub, the staff are lovelly and the accommodation has a cottage feel, wooden beams and uneaven floors. Its not fancy, it's perfect if youre walking the ridgeway. Breakfast is included, really good value and sets you up for the day. they also do a great supper (extra but very reasonably priced).

    Friendly and helpful service, nice atmosphere, excellent food including evening menu which was far better than one might expect for a hotel in this price bracket. - the new management couldn't have been any better if they tried, and they did!. attention to detail, and a great, chef cooked breakfast. I'll be back.

    Lovely receptionist/cum breakfast waitress/cum everything. The only member of staff around - but she was fantastic - friendly, helpful and so welcoming. Room in the attic excellent for us and our 2 dogs! Excellent location - right next to Prospect Park so ideal for dog walking.     The hotel and room were really clean and well presented, in particular the enclosed "beer garden" with heaters were a very welcome addition to the hotels facilities. I didn't stay long enough to form an opinion on the staff but from the short time I spent there the staff came across as very amiable and helpful. I would certainly recommend The Bell... what people say » to family and friends. - The rooms were clean and comfortable, even if British sinks tend to be a little small. The staffers with whom we had most of our dealings, Vlad and Fillippe, were most courteous and helpful. By our second day they remembered what we liked and prepared it promptly. And of course we liked George. How could you not?
