Booked the cottage and boy was I glad I did. Fantastic little place with superb gardens and all to myself. The meals in the restaurant were beyond reproach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday and yet less than 10 miles from the A1. This is defiantly somewhere I will be revisiting .......

The hotel was excellent offering spacious and comfortable rooms in a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was amongst the best that I've tasted in any hotel or restaurant. The log fire in the lounge area only enhanced the experience of staying in a beautiful country hotel.

Both comfortable and cosy, rooms were clean, modern and toasty warm, necessary as it was a very cold weekend. All needs catered for. Breakfast very good. A bit out of the way but my family lived in the next village with no suitable accommodation so this fit the bill perfectly. Will definitely stay again.

It was everything I have come to expect from Holiday Inns. Having use of the room until midday on departure day was an unexpected bonus. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. - the room was of a large size and very comftable. in a relaxing enviroment and east to locate.

I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

I loved the entrance reception area and the bar area and eating area with the large screen tv. The ability to eat 24/7 with the light snack menu meant we didn't need to eat a full meal - could go out shopping for the day and return, relax and enjoy a snack in the bar with a drink. I went to this hotel for one night. The hotel is close to train station Luton Parkway, just behind it. Cleanness is perfect, my room was with sofa, spacious, with high speed internet connection. Exactly in front of the hotel is a bus stop for shuttle bus to get to Luton airport, the ticket costs 1,50. The bus goes every 10-15 minutes. I think this hotel is very suitable for travellers going to or from the airport. Might be for business, probably not for long stay, because it is too far from the

I booked rooms for family (didn't actually stay myself) and was told that it was an excellent hotel. It's brand new so you would expect it to be immaculate but I hear it exceeded expectations. No complaints at all. Showers were fantastic and everything in the rooms brilliant. The breakfast also got rave reviews! Well done Premier Inn. -

I took my girlfriend away for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the facilities are very modern and clean. The grounds are well kept and I proposed to my girlfriend in the rock garden, which looks like something straight out of a fantasy film. I would absolutely recommend this hote

Wonderful historic building and rooms. Lovely setting. Wernher restaurant is quite exceptional. Golf course massive. Clay pigeon shooting top. Highly recommended as a historic and luxurious weekend.
However I think you need to be in the main building - you wouldn't want to be in the modern block - no matter how sympathetically designed. That would eliminate the whole point of the experience.
