    I really loved staying here! Val is such a nice host. There's an excellent breakfast with lots of varieties and you fill out a paper with what you want -excellent service (I recommend the scrambled eggs). On my last day I had to leave early and I got a lunchbag with cheese rolls, juice, yoghurts, fruits etc., which was just perfect. I wou - In a beautiful location overlooking the bay and close to the centre of Oban we had a great visit. The owner recommended two excellent restaurants nearby where we had lovely seafood (and reserved them for us). The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, and the breakfast was copious and well-prepared.

    This place exceeds by personality, in a traditional sense. Excellent personable customer service. Spacious room, charming decor (lamps and paintings) with tranquil and unobscured sea view from our window. Good distance from the - It was our first trip with our 6 week old baby - the hotel could not have been more welcoming! As it is a high standard of formal dining offered at the hotel we were uncomfortable taking our baby in to the dining room, the staff set up a small private dining experience for us so we could still have a lovely dinner but not disturb other guests!     Had a lovely stay in room 2, which was very comfortable and had a view out to the front. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic with a varied selection including crepes, waffles and pancakes which was a nice change from regular hotel breakfasts elsewhere. We throughly enjoyed our stay and met many tourists from around the world. "Mine host" answered any questions and queries in as full a way as possible. Could not be faulted. Good luck to them both.     The hotel was in a lovely location, a perfect break before travelling further into Scotland. The welcome was genuinely friendly and all staff were very helpful. Although not included in the price of room our £8 Full Scottish breakfast was plentiful and the Haggis was lovely.     Much has been written about Ardtorna already, and when we arrived the welcoming and gracious owners had just returned from picking up another "best of..." award. We only stayed one night, but it was our best night's sleep in Scotland, which speaks for the bed and bedding. The view was beatiful, and all rooms have it. The extra touches were lovely,... what people say » and breakfast (from a surprisingly long list of choices) was superb. This is a place to come for a few days to relax and enjoy the surrounding area - - A very luxurious location with outstanding views. Karen And Sean make you very welcome and nothing is too much in helping you enjoy you enjoy stay.Accommodation is excellent and great attention to detail has been made in providing great comfort in the bed, bath linen and room standards. The breakfast offer is amazing with 15 options, all of which are well thought through and mouth watering. A fantastic bed and breakfast and worthy of its 5 star rating and award winning food award.

    Excellent hotel, we stayed in the Kerrera room which had fantastic views over Oban Bay. The room was huge and was to a high standard. Breakfasts was again excellent where everything was cooked to order. The staff were really friendly. Karen actually came out to the car to meet us on arrival which I thought was a really nice touch. Lovely outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the views with a glass of wine. Our room "Kerrera" was fabulous. Great views of Oban Bay and beyond. The bathroom, 6 steps down from the bedroom, simply outstanding. Just along the road from a fabulous little restaurant called the Seafood Temple (must book ahead).
