    Owners and staff of this immaculate hotel went out of their way to make our stay extremely enjoyable they combined a friendly service with proffesional quality.     I really loved staying here! Val is such a nice host. There's an excellent breakfast with lots of varieties and you fill out a paper with what you want -excellent service (I recommend the scrambled eggs). On my last day I had to leave early and I got a lunchbag with cheese rolls, juice, yoghurts, fruits etc., which was just perfect. I wou - In a beautiful location overlooking the bay and close to the centre of Oban we had a great visit. The owner recommended two excellent restaurants nearby where we had lovely seafood (and reserved them for us). The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, and the breakfast was copious and well-prepared.

As it is a high standard of formal dining offered at the hotel we were uncomfortable taking our baby in to the dining room, the staff set up a small private dining experience for us so we could still have a lovely dinner but not disturb other guests!     The hotel was in a lovely location, a perfect break before travelling further into Scotland. The welcome was genuinely friendly and all staff were very helpful. Although not included in the price of room our £8 Full Scottish breakfast was plentiful and the Haggis was lovely.     I stayed in 'Corbett' room which includes an en suite sauna in your bathroom and breathtaking views as your balcony is literally feet away from the loch. The stunning Scenery and how big the room was amazed me. We stayed in room 67 in the building behind the main facility and couldnt recommend it more. We got a great deal (£66 booked on the same day - spur of the moment stop-over), the room had a personal sauna, the restaurant was absolute quality and worth the £80 we paid for 3 courses. The hotel also had a decent pool, sauna, steam room etc. Will definitely strive to go back in the near feature.

    The welcoming staff. Village location close to the sea. Good slection at breakfast time to cater for all needs. Room was well appointed and clean although a little cramped. Shower in the room did not work during my stay but had the use of a seperate shower which was not ideal as I had paid for a en-suite room. The breakfast was excellent - this was the only b&b that did not have separate breakfast tables and it was great because it was a good opportunity to interact with other guests.
