The Location is perfect just around the corner from the bottom of Hockley, the apartment was beautiful, lots of lovely designer details and very stylish finishes, such as leather feature walls, lots of glass occasional tables, and degner rugs and cushions, felt like a designers own home! I was visiting from Australia, and they are much nicer than similar places in Sydney & Melbourne, I had read a few negative comments about the place, I loved it and would be happy to live in it ( Apartment .
all reviews » We arrived early and the staff were really helpful and actually let us in an hour early, it was so close to all of the Shopping Nottingham has to offer, the apartment was really clean, beds were really comfy, excellent place to stay for Nottingham Arena being only a 3 minute walk away, which is initially why we chose it, but would definitely stay there again.... Can't say enough good things about the service.... Thank you!!!. The location was very ideal. It was very close to Hockley, Lace Market and a short walk from the Market Center, the Broadmash shopping centre, the victoria centre and the nottingham castle. The apartment itself is of high quality and very comfortable, and the view from the room was amazing. I booked it for my mother and sister and they absolutely loved it. The city centre location, close to transport links, the Victoria Centre, Broadmarsh and Market Square. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff on arrival. The layout of the apartment (mine was located on the 12th floor) and the views. The facilities in the apartment. The quiet despite it being a weekend. I like the comfort of the whole apartment. We paid for a one bedroom apartment and got a two bedroom which meant we both had a bathroom each. The main bedroom has an en suite. there are french doors to lead onto a mini balcony. would have liked to have stayed an extra few nights. all staff from reservations to cleaner were really helpful and accomodating. appartment was clean and modern and well equipped. we were attending a cheerleading competition at the ice arena all weekend and this was a perfect location and great to be able to "live" close by. Well equipped and great service with v. helpful staff - when I had a couple of requests they sorted them immediately. Plus I was staying weekdays for work and they were happy to look after my bag over the weekend so I didn't need to lug it all home. The apartment was great everything I needed and was upgraded to a 2 bedroom on the 12th floor the view was breath taking. I would stay here again 100%. Great location near to shops and nightlife. Peaceful , yet city centre location. The apartment itself is great. We were there for a show on the Nottingham Arena and it's at 2 minutes walking. Location was handy. Building was secure. I couldn't fault it, if there is one small thing , I could see a roof terrace from my apartment, but could not figure out how to get to it, but maybe it was only for permanent residents??. Nothing we didn't like.... The only thing that seemed just a little bit of a bother was emptying the rubbish as it requires taking the lift to the upper ground floor, taking two flights of stairs down, and going through 2 coded doors before getting to the rubbish disposal area. It wasn't too bad though and there was adequate information and instructions about what exactly to do. That I had to leave!!!. there were about 3 few bulbs out but it didn't affect our stay. the oven was quite loud when you opened the door. one of the showers you had to put in a certain position because the water pressure would lift it off its catch. overall it was a really enjoyable stay. nothing at all. except the blizzards which stopped us exploring more!. Nothing. Nothing!!. Only negative comment i have was finding the car park. The car park was an excellent facility, felt very secure and location was good but finding it was very hard, had to go round the 1 way system 4 times before i found it, needs signposting. But still loved my stay. The car parking arrangements, the concierge should be in charge of all aspects of the car park E.G. flat numbers for every parking space provided and who is allocated each space so people cant go in any space they want causing disruption. there was no dishwasher and that is all i can fault this apartment for. The hot water in bathroom is not stable; it is warm at the beginning, but it becomes cooler when you take shower in several minutes. The apartment booklet mention how to top up the hot water, but it need at least a half an hour fill the hot water tank. Quite a difficult check in procedure as there is no reception staff. Also, curtains in the bedrooms let a lot of light through and I would have preferred the room to be much darker early morning. Car park could be better sign posted Codes for doors are at first a bit confusing as so many and could maybe be better explained on email ie quick check as well as a detailed explanation. The internet runs from "slow" to "dead". Had to wake up before 06:00 or stay late night to do anything meaningful on the internet. A little bit of refurbishing will do some good as well. 12 floor - flat 6 *Incorrect aerial cable to tv. Lead needs to fit into aerial socket not fm socket on wall.Cant watch tv. *Socket in 2nd bedroom damaged - exposed live parts - dangerous *When grill and hob are on, putting the kettle on trips the rcd. *2 of the 3 balcony doors broken and unusable - would of been really disappointed if the weather allowed for them to be open. Apart from that, spot on... couldn't sign on to free wi fi, didn't know if 0s or Os in the password. Sign-in process was long-winded and car-park difficult to find. Our welcome package included a wifi access code but the code given did not work in giving access to the wifi. Took us 2 and half hours to find the place. Extremely hard to find. All do it yourself check in. A bit complicated. We were very stressed by the time we got to the room. If you dont book parking at the time of the booking of the room its hard to arrange if you dont have a phone. If you decide to park on the street, make sure you get to the car before the time runs out because the metre man was there waiting to book us after 8am. Early check out time. All thou in enail says about the parking a sign would have been much more helpful we missed it once our friends who arrived few hours after us missed it 6times before we went down to show them. Noisy parties in flats,including bottles being thrown from windows late into the night. The main room window/patio door could not be opened as it was broken and the blinds were damaged. the door lock was inoperative, until we discovered that the barrel had to be eased out in order to get the key to turn. The shower did not drain, plughole full of human hair!!!. I wish the room was bigger and not self contained, but then again it still has served its purpose. Will use it again or recommend it!. Our apartment did look a little tired. Postcode didn't seem right for sat nav. room was too hot - ok, it was very hot outside, but no way to cool inside.. room guide (TV + local facilities) was a bit out of date. Bathroom. Damage lack of clarity on rules no face to face reception. Lots of light bulbs needed replacing, 2 out in apartment, Many out in stair well and a few out in car park. Unfortunately crockery and pans were not clean and needed to be washed before use. A few small details- side lights not working in living room and bedroom and kitchen work top lights. Absolutely no services. Anybody for the check in we had to call many people and Booking office included cause anybody presents and even the emergency numbers didn't work. We had to wait a half hour to find somebody on phone and she made us through a reality tv to find the keys on a safe-deposit box, so weird and painful. Fortunately the concierge was there for the check out cause without him we even didn't know where to leave the keys. Check-in was a hassle. Apartment was shabby and the layout was bad. The place had a cigarette smell. No air conditioning. The woman who stored my bags was friendly but knocked on my door at 9.45pm asking for coat hangers and the hair dryer for another apartment. Booking in was a nightmare. At 8.30 Saturday morning some random man came in by key saying our keys were in the safe - we had picked our keys up on Friday evening in an envelope so unsure how this happened and not happy that we were woken up and he just walked in with out knocking etc. Lift / Elevator from street level to rooms, but none to go two floors down to car park. One window was screwed shut. The flashing under the bath was not fastened to anything. Bath overflow leaked. Other minor finishing issues that could easily be fixed. The place is quite rundown and the apartment needs some proper refurbishment. the self check in was very inconvenient especially when you have A car and travelling with young children. Lots of broken appliances, fridge milk holder, iron. Decor was bad, holes in walls. Bad smell when we first went in. Couldt turn shower off when running a bath. Entering instructions to get into the car park were none existing.
