Employees were so friendly, I loved how friendly and hospitable they were. Location is much better than expected its right next to oxford street and shopping is perfect for that! There's a Sainsbury next to it as well as a phone shop which is perfect for a tourist. Doormen are super nice, and very helpful. Receptionist are always looking forward to helping as well as the concierge. I'm very picky about cleanliness and I can tell you that they get an A from me on that. I love this hotel and look.
all reviews » The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We would like to especially commend Nadine at the consierge desk for all she did for us. She made planning our stay a perfect one. We liked everything about our stay there and will recommend it to all. It is heap and fresh,big difference in according with mostly old and dusty hotels in London.Cool crowd,great location and nice restaurant.Big chance to meet what you dream about. I actually liked everything in this hotel, but in particular the staff... they are very well trained and caring. Customer service as it should be!. There was nothing that we did not like in our 5 day stay at The Edition. Can't really say anythingn negative about this place!. just niggles - such as no mirror by 'dressing' table for make-up/hair, spartan bathroom and had to search for 'things' - limited storage. Breakfast should be open buffet. Hair dryer should be installed. No complimentary water in the room (at first;)), sheets and towels a little dusty/flousy. Nothing. Had to ask a few times about the availability of a table in the Punch Room. Good friendly staff but far too many staff are in a line in the lobby greeting you when you leave and re-enter the hotel. Customer attention should be discrete. A bit pricy. The complementary products were not that good.. maybe add more bottles of water in the room. nothing. nothing - loved all of it. no dishes in the room. Rooms are a bit small. Nothing. Taxi ranks do not exist. The room was rather small, it was just fine for 1 person and the price was very high. Arrived Friday evening into what can only be described as a night club. You have to get through the bar area to get to reception, we thought it was the wrong place and you could not even hear the staff talking at the the reception desk the music was so loud. The room faced front of building and was noisy. Stated at Savoy last time, and will do next time. This was not the experience we expected. The upper floors - rooms and corridors did not match the main hotel, more spartan Hotel reception and ability to deal,with bill very poor. Restaurant breakfast farcical beyond belief. Too many staff walking around with no focus and nothing to do, especially the preponderance of staff in 'suits'.
