convenience of location, value for m oney. Cant comment as it was just a quick over night stay between our journey from France back ourhome in Yorkshire. This is the cleanest London hotel I have ever stayed in. For a "budget" hotel, staff was most accommodating. Facilities were more than adequate for the price, and the Continental breakfast was very well-done, and was really Continental "plus.".

Amount of stairs that we had to go up and down with the luggage as we were staying in one of the top floor suites. The stairs are very steep and narrow, and the lift wasn't working. The breakfast room took self service to a new level. I had to make several trips to the serving table to search for cutlery, serviettes etc. There were no trays. It would help if the tables were at least set with cutlery. It was assumed that guests undetrstood the system. We booked an early breakfast but no one turned up to provide it.We had an early start to catch our train so we just left the hotel. Shower cubicle was a bit cramped.Our room was next to stairs and very noisy when people came down for breakfast but we wanted lay in but got woken up!!. The breakfast is too small. If all people living in the hotel come to the breakfast room, they may find no spare seat.Blanket on bed was thin and short and there was not an extra one available,nor was there a wy to control the heating. Room a bit on the small side and not soundproof.The shower very very noisey and kept running hot and cold. There was no place to put the suitcases in the twin room and still be able to walk in the room! Bathroom needs another hook or towel rack to hang items.Quite noisy. official,cool,nervous staff in reception ( but not all persons ). It was mentioned that earlier access to the room would be possible unless mentioned in advance.I called one day in advance to get room two hours earlier but my room was not ready after my earlier arrival to the hotel. was put in basement room..no view out of window..right next to pavement up above..noisy for traffic and people talking..felt unsafe if window open. too warm to close it. did tell reception and he said next time ask for higher floor. This was my third time in this hotel within six monts. Earlier I have been very happy with my room, but this time I wasn't not too happy. During the Saturday there was a cabel from my room to out of the window as somebody had to do some remodelling. So no opportunity for a little rest during the day. And even though the cabel was removed during the afternoon the noise didn't stop until 9.30 pm.Aircon did not work on one of the hottest days of the year. The hotel was noisy with people coming back to rooms late into the night. small room, ladder, walk path between rooms.my allocated room was very basic and was a "cellar room". small beds. Hotel in need of update . The rooms were very small. The bathroom is not handled properly.

- Turn right one more time and you will be on the Gray’s Inn Road.
- At the traffic light, turn left into Birkenhead Street.
- Drive straight on and you are in St. Chad’s Street. The hotel is on your left-hand side.
