Beautiful hotel, friendly knowledgeable staff. \clean and comfortable - exactly the distance stated from the station. Would recommend to a friend. Breakfast was excellent and fast service too!. I liked the english breakfast included in the room's price, the location of the hotel and the fact that they have kindly kept our luggage before and after our night there.I did not spend much time in the hotel, but as long as I stayed there, the service, the staff were all right: nice people, good food.
all reviews » The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Very close to the kings cross/St pancreas train and tube station. Free breakfast. Friendly staff, clean, very good quality at such a good price too - would thoroughly recommend it and will stay again. Great breakfast, and although the room was very small, it was clean and freshly painted..It was convenient for St PAncrsas station where we were getting an early train. This hotel was in a good location for exploring London. It was only minutes from Kings Cross Station and underground. Despite being in close proximatey to a busy area it was suprisingly quiet. My room overlooked the park which was a pleasant surprise!. good location, nice staff, nice breakfast, although the room is not en-suite, but the toilets and shower rooms are clean. And i like the little fan in room...good in everywhere. The hotel and room were cozy, welcoming, clean and good value for money. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and carried my very heavy luggage up to the top floor for me. the room had enough space for 4 with a wardrobe and various sets of draws...the en-suite was small but had a shower,toilet and sink..overall worth the £90 a night we paid. Staff are excellent hosts. Great location and value for money wouldn't hesitate in staying again, this is our second occasion. The room was very clean, with a few amenities like soap and shampoo. The English-style breakfast was very good.Bathroom in family room could have been a little bigger (a little tight as knees were under sink when using toilet) but nothing that spoiled our stay. the low pressure and cold/hot water in alternance of the shower. room was very small but relative to price. The hotel would benefit from installation of a lift. Staircase was a narrow spiral.The bed was very uncomfortable (room 105), but we improvised and this improved matters. Well the only thing was that the breakfast room was a bit small and some times people would have to wait for other to finish.english breakfast. No wireless, rather just one wired connection available, in the reception area.A single bed could be bigger. they charged a 10 euro deposit for a "large towel" which was not large. The hotel was wonderfully quiet until the young backpackers showed up - they were loud and disruptive. Charlottenburg stn is pretty far from anywhere I wanted to visit in Berlin. Powdered creamer for coffee and tea in the room but at the price paid it was good to get a tea/coffee making facility. Only the fact that the shower room was on a different floor to our room.Would be nice to have a sink in the same room as the shared toilet so you wouldn't have to return to your room to wash your hands. We had to wait for a free table almost every morning ( there were only five tables in the breakfastroom.)- but this was really not a big problem for us. Breakfast was mainly good, but we didnt like the sausages.The room wasn't not soundproof, wich was very annoying. If the room had its own wc, I wouldn't even mention that the room was rather small.We had not realised that the room did not have private facilities and that was difficult for us. Next time we will make sure we have ensuite. Maybe the doors smash-sound (you could only close your door with a little push ( smash-sound) was a little noisy.UHT milk rather than powdered milk in the rooms would be an improvement. The breakfast could have had more variety but the staff were very accommodating within the limited choices!. The bed felt like I was sleeping on springs and due to the shared toilet and shower you could hear people opening their doors as they get up through the night. breakfast room was a little cramped ,have had better breakfasts. There are no elevators, which is inconvenient if you have lots of luggage.
