although my card was swiped, on check in, i would have preferred to settle my bill by debit card. I was not offered that choice. I was just asked for my credit card on checkout, and did not realise it was being handed over to settle the bill. Perhaps you should consider asking your customers how they would like to pay rather than simply asking for their credit card. Otherwise, very good.

Very good service, good quality environment, good value for money

Insufficient space with addtional double bed in the room, table and chair were inaccessible; additional cost of parking which I would prefer to be included in the price, insufficent seating at breakfast and zealous service - our place vanished when we went to get coffee and plates were cleared away - perhaps one should have stayed on guard!

£6 to park my car in a public car-park overnight. Its free at the other Express Holiday Inn in Leeds! i'd recommend the other EHI.

I like that it was quiet on a night.

I did not like the fact I had to pay to park in a multi storey next to the hotel. The other express by hol inn is a lot better

New building and very clean. Better than other holiday inn express hotels. Location next to Royal Armouries.

Cold air was coming from outside and air conditioner didn't work enough. It should be maintained. And parking cost 7 pounds for 24 hrs.

modern, clean, car park reduction in multi story next door as there was no car park of the hotel's own

we asked on your website for no smoking but were allocated a smoking room - the smell was disgusting! Couldn't be changed they said as were full. They have given us a 'profile' on their system in case we stay in any Holiday Inn again so we should then be allocated non smoking room.
