  Very welcoming stay, breakfast was very nice and plentyful. Room was basic but clean, I would recommend this hotel as it is central to all the main attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Courteous helpful staff, very very clean, excellent food - a very well run medium priced hotel

  The staff was very friendly and polite. We had such a warm welcome. We could leave our luggage even though we could not check in untill 2. Also when we had already checked out in the morning we were allowed to take our lunch in the garden and pick up our luggage in the evening. The facilities are great. The shared bathroom was perfectly clean, and nice clean towels were provided every day. The beds are - The location was excellent as it was near the British Museum and shopping streets of Oxford and Totterham. The receptionist Roger is very good in his job and in giving advise. I do the same job so I know what is expected.The Arran Hotel is a small place but has a great heart. Breakfast was tasty and grand. The bathroom/ rooms were very clean. I found the hotel to be in a great location. A great recommendation.

  Proprietor was very knowledgeable and helpful beyond the call of duty. I will stay there again. It's convenient for St. Pancras as well as British Museum, tubes and buses, with some pleasant cafes and pubs nearby. Not a very busy road so slept very well. - Friendly welcome and polite host.   Hotel was great value, loved breakfast, awesome location. We were advised by cab driver on the way to hotel, that it was in bad neighborhood. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Maybe not a great area, but we found it excellent for price, location to Kings Cross Tube and value for our money. Loved it...would stay again. It has easy access to the entire city of London and beyond, and lots of food options. As a single traveler, I especially appreciated the fast food and grocery stores available. I had everything I needed: extra blanket, hair dryer, TV. I even had a chance to boil water and make a tea in my room I have stayed in other hotels next to Elmwood Hotel, and I think that this has been my best choice so far. If the prices will stay just as low are they are right now, I'll defenatly return there
