Room was lovely and clean, a bit on the small side, but that wasn't a problem. We ate in the ajoining chinese restaurant and the food was exellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, both in the hotel and restaurant. My only complaint would be the lifts, they seemed to take such a long time to come, but this wasn't a major issue we just used the stairs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a drink in the bar on return from watching Wicked the musical, Staff very welcoming. Excellent location for shopping. Comfortable beds. Shower was very nice, could have stayed in it all day!! Slept well!!!. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm. We checked in early - about 10.30 am which meant we could have a rest and a quick cup of tea before going back out! Lovely breakfast. We went to see a show and the hotel was perfectly situated for the money you could not ask more it was very clean the room was a little small but for a short stay and again for the money it was great.Staff was very helpful and they recommended nice places to visit in London. Some of the reviews are not good but we were very happy with the hotel and it offered good value for money. Didn't reflect the smartness of the rooms. Also booking in took awhlie. I thought having to pay the concierge to store bags on the Sunday after check out was a bit steep - surelt this service should be included within the room price? All they do is put the bags in a room, no great shakes. Not much light in the room, only had 3 small lamps. Apart from that, everything was fantastic. Bit too warm in the room, however there was a fan in the wardrobe so that was very welcome.The single rooms are tiny, but the twin rooms are better. Some draw space in the room would be useful.

Leisure facilities operate restricted hours on Public Holidays, Christmas and Easter period. The facilities are fully closed on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day. The leisure facilities are independently managed by the Central YMCA Club. Access to the pool costs GBP 5 per person per visit. Swimming pool opening times may vary. The swimming pool is also closed each year during Easter for approximately two weeks to carry out yearly maintenance. Please note that club opening/closing times are subject to change without prior notice, at the discretion of the Central YMCA Club. Please note that free luggage storage is available Monday to Saturday. Luggage storage is chargeable per bag on Sundays. WiFi for accessing social media, emails and browsing the internet is free. Premium WiFi (high-speed) which is suitable for streaming music, videos, catch-up TV and downloading work files, can be purchased for an additional cost of GBP 5.00 per 24 hours. Please note, the swimming pool at the YMCA leisure facilities will be closed for renovation works from 01/09/2017 until 31/12/2017. Other facilities within the gym will not be affected.

From Victoria Station - Take the underground Victoria line (Northbound) to Oxford Circus (2 stops), then change onto the Central line (Eastbound) to Tottenham Court Road Station (1 stop).
From Heathrow Airport - The Hotelink service from Terminals 1,2,3, and 4 can be taken directly to the Hotel entrance (details of times and fares are available from the Concierge). Alternatively by underground, take the Piccadilly Line to Leicester Square Station and change to the Northern line (Northbound) to Oxford Street (1 stop).
From Gatwick Airport - Take either Connex South Central or Gatwick Express rail services direct to Victoria station, then take number 24, 25 or 73 bus from the main station entrance to the St. Giles hotel. Flightline coach services also run between Gatwick and Victoria Station.
