Will recommended to others, I saw bad comments before and was thinking twice, but once i arrived the staff where very friendly, and the place was great value for the price.Everything is newly built. And the location is just perfect. Could not ask for more. Will go back for sure.
Amazing location, literally right on Oxford Street. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room has everything you might need on your trip, the mini fridge and kettle came in handy! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will be returning soon!.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and make you feel home, and hotel has excellent location and near everything a tourist wants. Excellent kitchen facilities.
Just one minute walk from Tottenham court road tube. station.
Friendly staff/owners. Well placed for Oxford Street, Soho, Chinatown - front entrance is at the back of a shop on Oxford Street near Tottenham Court Road tube station, back/night on a road that leads ino Soho Square.
The Manager Mustafa was very helpful, explaining the rooms weren't that big and that there was a choice of two. Communal kitchen with free tea/coffee and biscuits. Very helpful staff.
Amazing location on the high road, the staff was more then helpful and the place was very clean, I will recommend to people. Cheap for price , great value.
The staff were freindly and couldn't do enough for you. Helped me
move my things to a different room. I would stay there again and
recommend it to others.
Location, Polite staff, price. Slap bang in the middle of Oxford St, great for the shops. Obviously a new venture so everything clean & tidy.
The wife and I stayed two nights at the Marisa last weekend. It was a good location. Clean and the staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.
I liked the staff they were very nice and they tried everything to make us fell as comfortable as possible. Also the location is just perfect.
Great location on Oxford street near Tottenham court road tube station
Room clean and quiet
Friendly and helpful staff
Decent price.
As reviews said before excellent location. Entrance via back door was also not as dark and scary as described by other. Well lit.
Nice big modern and clean quad room, ideal for my wife and I and two young children. Great location right on Oxford Street.
It's a very nice place where to stay near tube, shops.
Very friendly staff.
I suggest it to people that likes essential!.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful too!
Place was very clean and bed comfortable.
Would happily stay there again.
Very nice.amazing location. In Oxford street. Staff more then friendly and could not ask for more.
Location was great. staff was very helpful
Great value fr money.
Perfect location - everything is near
Great priced.
I liked the location of the hotel.
Near to the place I wanted to be.
Best location ever, fun stuff.
Cheap clean.
Location.
Location, particularly for evening/night. There was an enclosed room with a bed and a bathroom. Clean (for a hotel of this type). You feel like a spy staying here --- there are no signs for the hotel, and you enter though a hidden door in a gift shop during the day and though an unmarked door in at the end of a long dark alley at night.
The hotel is in a great location, near the Tottenham Court Road Tube station. Very easy to walk to Leicester Square, Piccadily etc.
The rooms were clean, and had everything you needed, except for space. The rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels were given.
Friendly, helpful staff. It was clean and well maintained. It was fairly quiet - apart from road noise which was to be expected. Central to lots of activities, the Tube station, shops etc.It was warm.Use of kitchen facilities.
The room was clean, there were tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room and a kitchen to prepare food and drinks.
Location in London ideal for galleries, shopping, theatre and restaurants. Wifi available.
Location. It could not be better location in London for a long weekend (or a week) city visit.
Price & Quality ratio (ie. do not expect luxury room with this price in this location).
2 minutes off Soho Square, right in the heart of London
My room was very quiet - not sure if they all are
Nice big bed
Free wifi
Friendly staff.
Central location, comfy bed, quiet (I was at the back of the hotel), kitchenette facilities, great staff, mini fridge in room.
Location on Oxford St. close to Theatres , shops and galleries
Quiet Room at rear of building.
The staff were very friendly it was very well situated and it was clean and value for money.
Location. Ideal for central London. Just off Oxford Street. Good value for money.
Your own fridge in room your own privacy the homely feel ensuite.
simple, no nonsense- basic facilities at a fair price.
Convenient location, cleanliness, kitchen facilities.
Location, poor access after 22-00pm.
It's central location and price.
Location and value for money.
the clean and location.
We liked the staff.
City centre.
Location.
staff were friendly, all 5 of us had a proper bed, in the city centre.
The location is in the oxford street and beds are quite comfortable.
The location. On Oxford St. Only a minute walk from Soho Square.
The location is excellent, you can't get any more central!.
- Entrance by day is through a tourist gift shop which was hard to find
but not a problem.
- The room was very hot, but the outside temperature for October was also very mild and we did have a fan which helped.
- Windows are not double glazed so you can hear street noise at night, but you are right on Oxford Street so should be expected.
- The shower was VERY hot; even on the coldest temperature!
*Easy to ignore all of the above if you are just looking for a great location at a good price.
It was slightly noisy on the weekend however it is in the heart of Camden town and London city, this is not a big issue.
The back entrance can be a bit scary at night if your a solo traveller!.
The back entrance was a little bit boring, but it is manageable.
Very small room and tiny bathroom - you don't get much space for your money in London. Four flights of stairs to our room - couldn't have done it with heavy luggage.
The mattress was particularly soft and not comfortable for me, but then I have osteo-arthritis in my hips so that is a personal choice I know. The rooms were small but at £80.00 we found nothing to complain about and were very happy.
The first room I was given was very small. But was moved to bigger one.
Wasn't very easy to find but staff member met me on Oxford Street
and took me there.
Entering through the shop, Using the back door after 10pm (Bit of a building site whilst Tottenham Court Road tube station being renovated/expanded) into a back alleyway. But these are minor really, overall very pleased with it.
we are both 60 + fit but there is no lift and there was a lot of stairs to climb. This may present a problem to anyone with mobility difficulties. The room was compact the bed occupied nine tenths of the space. The back entrance, the only means of entry late at night was not a pleasant experience. It was untidy and in an alley down a back street off of Soho Square.
This was not good as it made us feel very vulnerable.
Room very small for two people
Access is through a shop and after 10pm via an alleyway that was dark and didn't feel safe.
The room and on-suite is extremely small but baerable for one night.
It's a very basic hotel, hostel style really, but perfectly adequate as a base.
No elevator:/.
Room was very small but that is reflected in the price but is functional for its purpose. Rear entrance after 10pm not very good.
- The bed wasn't super clean
- The room was cold (december)
- No elevator
- Entrance thru the souvenir store is odd, 10pm-10am back door entrace goes thru long back yard (but ending at soho square).
The room was so small I couldn't move freely.
Room 403 very, very, small.
Stairs.
Size of room and bathroom.
Room was as tiny as they come. No room on the floor for a standing piece of carry on luggage without blocking doors. Ice cold water in shower. (After one night got moved to a room with warm water and was merely small). Bed uncomfortable. One power outlet hard to get to. Was about what I expected for the price, I was not unhappy, but I have a sense of humor about such places.
The hotel is very hard to find as the entrance is inside a shop. There are a lot of stairs to climb up, very narrow & un even. The double room we stayed in was quite small, the shower room you could just about move in, if you were overweight you wouldn't have fitted. The window didn't close properly and the noise outside during the night was horrendous, not the hotel's fault but it didn't make me want to book again.
The room was extremely small. There wasn't a fridge as mentioned.
The room was small, and the bathroom smaller, there were no bedside lights, the windows were painted out at the bottom restricting views and light. No double glazing and it was very noisy. Construction work nearby started early in the morning, not the hotels fault but to be aware of. Thanks to previous reviews we found the hotel quite easily at back of souvenir shop but the alley to return to the hotel late at night was dark and not secure.
Entrance door security: anybody can access the hotel day and night as the lock is broken.
New hotel, so still some work going on
Hard to find, despite being so central
Limited amenities in hotel (as yet).
Hotel is new so much finishing off still needed.Stairs only, no lift. Stairs are steep. Window in my room didn't open
Bar for hanging clothes in wardrobe too high to reach! Entry round the back, not ideal (but new front entrance supposed to be done 'soon').
Small room with limited storage space
Access via dirty back alley after 10pm.
The hotel didn't have a front entrance it had been boarded up by the landlord so we had to walk through back alleys through the tube building site to get to it.
Back entrance/exit. Night-time is somewhat dodgy, as entrance/exit down a very badly-lit alley-way.
Room was small for couples windows were painted black unable to pay
hotel directly.
Building works at Tottenham Court Road went on all night. Loud banging made it difficult to sleep.
Lower windows in the room were sealed which made the room a bit stuffy in hot weather, noisy.
No restaurant .
I didn't like that there was no entrance and you had to go through a
shop to get there. When the shop was closed you had to go round the back
which was very intimidating especially if you're not from London and
don't know your way round. The back door was left unlocked all the
time. There was no space at all in the room to move around. I stayed
with a friend and I had to stand in the bathroom in order for my friend
to walk through the door.
The fact that it's difficult to find. Also because Google Map has the wrong location for 41 Oxford Street. It's on the south side of Oxford Street, 200 meter from entrance of Tottenham Court Road Tube. When in doubt, just call them and they will tell you how to go there.
the room was very small,4 floor without elevator.
Single room with double bed and a cupboard size ensuite. To be fair they did give us bigger room for 2 nights which was at front and soooo noisy we couldnt sleep, 4th night same in a box size room. We hated it. Rooms meant for a single person.
I had a problem to find this hotel.
Bring earplugs. Is was increadably much sound at night from the road. Yes you live right across primark at Oxford street - BUT you cant sleep at night. You might aswell go camping on a highway.. And at night the backentrance was a constrictionsight and i would not recomend anyone go in there alone.. The hygien og the room were poor..
No air con on the hottest day of the year.
No hot water
No tea making facilities in the room.
Walking around to the rear of the property late at night - didnt feel particulary safe.
The windows were single glazed and the sound from the street was terrible all night. The window was actually painted black instead of having a blind or a net curtain and they could easily be opened by the chidren. This was really dangerous as the windows were at floor level.
There is now main Entrance to the hotel it is located in the second
floor. The taxi driver was unable to find the location and rooms are
quite small, and charges per nights was very high 120 for twin room
in Saturday.
Size of the room. Too small. The room was barely big enough for the bed. I am 6 ft. My head touched one wall as my feet were touching the other wall.
Windows were steel framed, single glazed and wouldn't shut properly so the sound of the traffic and passers by/ late night revellers was intrusive.
To exit the room I had to sit on the bed whilst the wife opened the door to exit the room. £100 for one night was extortionate for the facilities.
Don't go! The price is literally to good to be true but it's not worth it!
The room was tiny which is fair enough. However, the room was dirty, there was black hair on the bathroom floor and even on the towel. The room was facing Oxford Street which is really noisy event at 4am meaning I hardly slept at all.
I really wouldn't recommend it.
