  Our room was lovely. The staff could not have been nicer. Upon our arrival theater tickets were ordered for us. We only had one night in London but were free the following day. The hotel stored our luggage and arranged transportation to the airport later that afternoon. The afternoon tea was just ok, but the setting was great.   We stayed in a small, but clean and nice room on the top floor for 5 nights. Top floor means 50 steps, no lift, in quite a narrow staircase. No problem for us, but good to know if you have difficulties with walking in stairs, or have heavy luggage. The bathroom was also very small, but clean and fresh. TV, hairdryer and a kettle in the room, teabags and coffe. Break - Very nice family-run accomodation (friendly owners had 2 cute kids) with great English breakfast (or if you like, a Continental one). While its just a stone's throw from King's Cross / St Pancras station, it is located in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the station and main roads. Our quadruple room came with attached shower and toilet which was very clean.

  I thought the room was comfortable and had the amenities I needed. It was better than I expected and its location was great. Walking distance to many sites.   The Hotel itself was beautiful and had a very nice cosmopolitan feel to it. The room was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed being able to pop outside into the courtyard. The people couldn't possibly have been nicer and made me feel welcome the second I walked in the door. These personal touches make all the difference, particularly in London (... what people say » where you don't often get that). Location second to none. - The rooms were both lovely but the best thng about the hotel was the staff they were friendly and so helpful they really made our stay comfortable nothing was too much trouble. We left a couple of personal items behind and Sergei located them though house keeping and mailed them on to us. We had cockatails in the bar after dinner out and they were superb and the atmosphere was great.

  The room was wonderful but in part that was because I had 6/7 (both) access to myself. With only a small room on its own - even with an excellent bathroom - I would have found it too small for C21st expectations. On the other hand, the staff(a manager?) was wonderful, including letting me use the breakfast room to do some emails etc. and next morn... what people say » ing breakfast was outstanding!! Yes I will be back. It was definitely as described and definitely not a flat pack chain hotel room. It's position in w - So many hotels are identical, and I stay in a lot of hotels! It was really nice to have something that was out of the ordinary for once, yet still in a good location (right next to Kings Cross station) and with functionality ... free wireless etc. A great breakfast, an extremely helpful and courteous staff, overall it made a very good impression.
