The breakfast was plentiful and - staff is very helpful.I booked a room with shared toilets for 53GBP.But it was in upstairs as I couldn't climb up there they gave me a single room with attached bathroom close to the main entrance.breakfast is ok.If I go to london I will definitely stay there because it suits my budget

  The staff was very friendly and polite. We had such a warm welcome. We could leave our luggage even though we could not check in untill 2. Also when we had already checked out in the morning we were allowed to take our lunch in the garden and pick up our luggage in the evening. The facilities are great. The beds are - The location was excellent as it was near the British Museum and shopping streets of Oxford and Totterham. The receptionist Roger is very good in his job and in giving advise. I do the same job so I know what is expected.The Arran Hotel is a small place but has a great heart. Breakfast was tasty and grand. The bathroom/ rooms were very clean. I found the hotel to be in a great location. A great recommendation.

The room we had was fabulous - they had taken note of what my husband had said on the booking form - that it was a birthday treat - and as a result we were upgraded, got a birthday card from the management and complimentary birthday patiserries.   Proprietor was very knowledgeable and helpful beyond the call of duty. I will stay there again. It's convenient for St. Pancras as well as British Museum, tubes and buses, with some pleasant cafes and pubs nearby. Not a very busy road so slept very well. - Friendly welcome and polite host.
