  All I can say is wow what an amazing hotel. It was absolutely spotless in every area . The bedroom was not only huge but also very plush indeed and the en-suite was outstanding - you could literally see your reflection in the floor. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. It really is amazing. The price was excellent too especially for a 5 star in - The gym, pool, sauna & steam room are all good & included in rate we got. The staff were helpful & took time to help explain there was engineering works on the district line & to use the Metropolitan line from Aldgate to get to my destination Sunday morning. Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from Tower Bridge.

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   Friendly staff who went out of his way to place us together which resulted in an upgrade. Booked months ago & got really good deal. Parking car for us was worth paying extra for. - The location, the large room, comfortable beds, warmth, ease of walking to places of interest, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, great room service food.
