Friendly and helpful staff checked us in early to accommodate for our jet lagged one year old. The location was fantastic. Easy walking to Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, London Eye. There was a Starbucks across the square which was great for morning coffees and a good Italian restaurant as well. The waterloo underground and train station were close by for all other transport. The rooms were very clean, and the staff very helpful with directions and booking a taxi for our trip to the airport. We had 2 triple rooms on the 10th floor with our daughters

The position of the hotel on The Strand was brilliant for sight-seeing. Even though our room was at the front the shutter system meant we had virtually no noise or light at night, so we had a good nights sleep. Location! Right next to Somerset House. 5 min walk to Temple underground tube. No frills but no unexpected nasty bits. Tea/coffee in room, towels provided, there was clean bedding. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again

The staff were really helpful and it was great to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in time and after. Breakfast was really good too and set us up for our days sight seeing.
