Location, location, location. This hotel is in such a great spot walking distance from so much but also there is a subway right down the street for even easier travel. The breakfast was great a nice buffet of beans, sausage bacon eggs toast croissants jellies fruit cereals muffins cold meats and hot and cold beverages (we filled up on breakfast here got a small snack in the middle of the day and then just ate out for dinner which saved us a bit of money so i think it's a good value for how much.

The place is clean and nicely located within walking distance to Waterloo. Exceeded expectations in terms of level of service for a 3 star hotel. In terms of facilities, it is basic but still presented a good value for money. I also like the bar area that is open 24/7. The free wi-fi is also much appreicated. Baggage hold was very useful as I had to attend a conference and did not really want to lug a baggag. Myself and my boyfriend absolutely loved our weekend stay at the Ibis hotel! We made a request a few months before our visit for a room with a view of the London Eye. They made it clear that the request will be possible however may not be for certain. We were amazed that we got the room they had requested, the staff were unbelievable friendly and gave us all the information we needed, as well as letting us keep our luggage in storage until 8.30pm even though we checked out at 12pm on sunday. The room was nice, well equipped for my needs. Bed was rather comfortable, but not the most. Bathroom is standard Ibis style. The lobby looked really nice. Hotel is 1 minute walk from nearest underground station and is within walking distance from points of interest, like London Eye, St Paul's cathedral. Staff very friendly and helping with any request. Also, i could leave my luggage in storage without paying when i came in too early before check-in, and after i checked out. The location just next to Southwark underground station is great. It is budget friendly and immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there is free internet access and newspapers too. The layout and design of the bar and dining area is contemporary and really cool! We had dinner on the first night and it was lovely. This is my second visit here and I would highly recommend this hotel. I wil be coming back in July. It is the second time we stayed at Ibis London Blackfriars this year because i strongly believe it is the best value for money hotel in London. Amazing design and very comfortable beds. Only 3 mins walking distance from Southwark underground. It has very friendly staff and clean rooms. And of course a very good breakfast in terms of quality and quantity which worth the money you pay for. Free WiFi makes a difference as well. It was the second time I stayed in Ibis London Blackfriars. In my opinion it is the best value for money hotel in London. Very stylish facilities, clean with a very comfortable bed. Just a 5 minute walk from the Blackfiars Bridge. 1 minute away from the Southwark tube station! Also there was a Barclays bicycle station near the subway! Breakfast and the restaurant - superb! Another big plus that there was a kettle in our room (however the offered tea bags were awful)! We also liked that the check - out was at 12 noon, since we could pack without any haste!. Great value for money. Very helpful staff who went out of their way to comply with our requests. As there was no twinroom available anymore, we were allocated a very spacious triple room. Location was excellent, very near the Thames promenade and with a good choice of restaurants in the vicinity. Full English breakfast. There is a printer in the lobby where guests can print out their boarding passes. It's a bit small, but we never felt cramped. The best part is convenience. We found many good places to eat nearby, the tube station is quite close and convenient to hop across the river. The staff is very friendly. The friendliness of the staff and the fact everyone was so polite. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel was spotless and had a lovely decor. The hotel was close to the Tube Station which made accessing the rest of London very easy. The hotel had everything I needed but at a much reduced price compared to other hotels I had looked at when booking my accommodation. We stayed 4 nights at the Ibis Blackfriars in early May. Its location was perfect for exploring London. It is only a short walk to the Southwark tube station and a short walk in the other direction to the sightseeing bus stop. The breakfast was great each morning. The room was very clean. The hotel was so well run that we had minimal interaction with the staff. We loved it! The staff was so friendly & helpful. We had free wi fi & the use of their computers. The room was clean & comfortable and the hotel was in a great location for us to be able to walk along the river and even to the London Eye. It was also very close to the tube. We would definitely come back to this hotel. Facility is excellent and good location for London tour. Could easily access popular tourist destinations even by walking to areas such as London & Tower Bridges and it is located close to train stations (Southwark & Waterloo and major roads (Blackfriars and waterloo road).Security, internet, excellent, to name just a few. The hotel is conveniently located near Southwark Station, with easy connection with different subway lines. It is a safe area and within walking distance to London Eye and London Bridge etc. Staff is helpful and professional. The English buffet breakfast is good and worth the money. Casual, open-plan and convenient restaurant & bar downstairs. Acceptable value for the location in London. The hotel is in line with the level of the Ibis Chain. Clean, spacious room with all you need for a short stay. It is very close to the Jubilee tube at Southwark. I chose the location to go to the Wembley Stadium and it worked perfectly. Wifi available in all structure for free. The only thing we can complain about is that there was not enough milk for room tea/coffee !!!!!!!! So if thats all we can complain about, then the Ibis at Blackfriars has nothing to worry about. Staff-helpfull, courteous. Room- Comfortable, clean. Breakfast-Very very good. The hotel was ideally situated for a London visit. It is well laid out the rooms are well thought out and well presented. Honest guests too, partner left her camera in the lobby and it was handed in to the reception from where we recovered it. Overall good value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was awesome and the location was quiet and ideally located near Southwark tube station, so getting about London was very easy. I have been to other Ibis hotels before, so you can expect same quality and service from this one. Friendly stuff, close to underground and some of the main attractions of London like London Eye, Tate Modern, The National Theather and The Parlament. The rooms were pretty quiet, and the beds comfortable. There was sufficient room to hand cloths, and do office work. Internet was good and easy to access. The location unbeatable, with just 1 block to the tube station for the Jubilee line. 2 minute walk from the tube. 10Minute walk from Waterloo station. We choose the hotel because of his location which is central and of easy access from waterloo station. staff were very frinedly very clean and realxing, room was not small then I was expected. too expencive for the weekend holiday (£250) but it was only the choice we had as we did book very late just before bank holiday weekend,. These facilities are hardly ever used. Shower in first room was broken (no hot water), but the staff were swift in moving us to a new room. Would be nice to automatically give 2 towels per guest instead of having to ask. TV channels were a restricted package. Nothing!. They should have safety boxes in the rooms. The rooms could have a safety box. The rooms themselves were not that great! Looked a bit cheap in comparison with how the reception looked like! In the bathroom you can find only one face- body - hair shampoo that is supposed to fit on all occasions. Also the room cleaning service could have done a better job (no knocking on the door before coming in, and left some of the minor rubbish that was supposed to be cleaned)!. The fact that the window in the room did not open, but the excellent air conditioning more than made up for this. We really have no complaints. The room was small but worked out great. - pricey - No toilette facilities, such as Kleenex, slippers etc. Nothing - this is a great budget option. The advertisements can be a bit deceiving regarding the room view. I got a room on the 8th floor, which was barely higher than the rear side of the building in front. The service at the bar was a bit slow one night, as there was only 1 person - The food delivery however was lightning fast. Only one thing, that the bedside lights were so bright, and no dimmer for them. Not so good for a romantic night. Minor problem with Debit card payment during on-line booking but was quickly resolved by staff on email. Nothing special. No negative comments. Nothing!!. The bed was quite hard and felt rather cheap, but that didn´t affect the sleep for us atleast. The breakfast was decent but the restaurant could´t accommodate everyone in the morning rush so we had to wait with the trays in our hands for a while. Baggage policy is not clearly articulated. They have a bags storage area, but if you check out for a day or two and come back to the same hotel, they don't allow you to keep the bags in the storage area... Most other 3 or 4 star hotels allow this and don't expect customers to lug around 5 pieces of luggage if they're making a short trip out of London for a couple of days. Breakfast restaurant was a bit crowded during the weekend... There seems to be a trend in hotels around the world to supply 1/2 sized pillows. I would recommend changing back to full sized pillows. These are not as comfortable. No iron in the room. In my eyes there is no negative point. Nothing. Beds weren't very comfortable but ok for a short break. no bath. no good view from window. As with most of London hotels, the room was a bit small, specially the bathroom. Breakfast is too expensive, ate elsewhere as a result. Expensive for an Ibis (though rates vary) but not too bad by London standards. No free coffee in the lobby in the morning. No washcloths in the bathrooms, very high cost for breakfast. Room rates vary quite a lot from £100 - £150 per night from week to week. But is still excellent value for a hotel of this standard in central London. Hotel very warm - thank goodness for aircon and a window that opened!. Bar Food stops too early for people arriving late. Selection of light bites aren't great. After a long day of sightseeing we went to the restaurant and asked if we could just have some chips as we didn't want a heavy meal at 10pm , a member of staff said yes , sit at a table but then we were told no, only items with a clock next to them, so we felt misled by the staff and ended up not eating. The rooms are modern but walls thin. It is noisy during the day. This is only a problem if noise from other rooms bothers you or if you like taking a day nap. No carpets in the room and bad sound insulation overall...
