After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but
please don't let the bad reviews put you off. My stay was wonderful.
Easy to find, the receptionist who greeted us was polite, and helped us
pay for our parking. The place was very clean, and it was obvious
they'd cleaned the room and changed the beds in prep for our stay.

Alistair was by far the most hospitable and friendly host we've met
on our trip so far. Even racing around after breakfast and looking after
his sick partner he still had time to stop and chat about Scotland's
history and about Stirling Castle. He even advised us on a better route
to reach our destination because it was more scenic- which is was! The
room was big and the bathroom as well. Free fast wifi, close to train

My room was spacious and pretty. The bed was comfortable but I helped
myself to a second duvet
a) because I'm old and chilly.
b)because it was very cold weather
c) because I didn't know how to turn on the radiator! (Pathetic)
d) I really appreciated having two comfortable armchairs for when my granddaughter came to spend a morning with me.
