  Very nice location, on the edge of the congestion zone. Parking was available in a non-associated parking house about two blocks away. The tower and tower bridge and the river is about 10-15 minutes walk. Room was clean, everything in order. Ac is great and sound isolation from the street noises worked perfectly. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing.   My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.
