The Lodge is located in Old Hunstanton which is a pretty and quiet resort. Bedroom was light and spacious. Food good with extensive choice. Close to beach (5 mins walk away). Although our bedroom was located at the front overlooking the main road, there was very little traffic noice. Great hotel. Had a superb holiday at the LODGE.The location was great very easy to go out and about to explore places.all the staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent.we stayed in the Loft and it was very comfortable I would recommend staying here and hope to go back soon.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and just far enough away from the noisy end!. Loved the room and the courtyard. It was very peaceful and in a great location. The staff were friendly and the breakfast and dinner menus had a great choice and were good value for money. We will definitely be returning. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, relaxed atmosphere, food excellent, clean hotel, location is perfect. Would recommend this hotel and we will be returning in the near future. "JUST A BRILLIANT PLACE TO STAY". we liked the outside seatin the heated patio the view fromour room 3 the food staff and especially the comfy seatin in the entrance the ease of orderin your food nothin complicated we felt at ease straight away. The food was good but the same dish varied from night to night. Good selection on the menu. Excellent breakfast. Loved the homemade muesli. Fresh juices and fruit salad - better than many hotels. Nice shower. The whole experiance from arrival to departure staff excellent and attentive always willing to assist . Food superb service top notch. Bedroom huge with all amenities bathroom big as a squash court. Some quirky accommodation which we loved (stayed in the Garden Shed). My only gripe and it,s a small gripe was the bed in the room is advertised as a double when in actual fact it was two singles moved together as I say that maybe me being petty. The only thing that let it down for us was the bed, it did not match the standard of the rest of the room. Time for a new luxury mattress in the Attic room we think!. There is nothing to dislike. the wasps. The room was smaller than expected and more expensive than we'd expect to pay for this basic standard of accommodation. It was described as a superior room. The bath was deep but narrow. Having to leave. We spent three days of a weeks holiday on a boat on the broads and would have had beter time at the Lodge. The big open Bar area (lost some charcter) that got a bit loud with families on the Sunday. when we first arrived the pub was showing live rugby so parking was impossible. However this is really a minor gripe as we absolutely loved the place and will be returning. Can't think of any. Dining room floor is a very old timber one which transmits noise and vibration very readily. Waiting staff need quiter shoes!. Nothing. The breakfast buffet is limited and when you order items they do take sometime to come. The two mornings we where there the server was not a happy person we where treated like we where an inconvenience to her in the end I stopped asking and just when to the service station myself and got what we needed. The bar area was a little 'well used' but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the stay. Nothing. Back end of dining room too dark and claustrophobic. Good shower but also needs a movable shower head for below waist washing. reduced head-room in room bed not that comfortable. Down-market food in an up-market hotel. Room 2 very small & noisy. nothing i did not like. nothing. Nothing. N/A. breakfast service a little tardy. Food unexceptional and overpriced. Lack of grab rail when getting out of the bath?. Very little - a little bit noisy with late night activity in garden .... but well ... it was Summer, and very warm !. The shower needed descaling. Bathroom smelt of damp. no alternative to milk or butter I appreciate I should have let you know my wife has a milk intollerance so would have like soya milk or flora type spread offered - we never have to ask when overseas it is always available. The height restriction in The Attic room - alright if you are younger or small. The sloping walls , low access door and beam were problematic. I banged my head twice!!!. Room a bit small for the price. quite exspensive.
