The whole overall experience was very good. I travel on business all around the country and I was very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness and comfort of the hotel and the helpfullness of your staff.We had the most wonderful time nothing had been over looked. It is in a pretty old village (Old Hunstanton) and just a mile from the town of Hunstanton, on a bus route and near to much fine countryside and many attractions such as Sandringham, Norfolk Lavender etc.I was at the hotel for a friends' wedding. Although the staff knew the bride very well, they went the extra mile to make sure all the guests were extra welcome. I am sure they would have done this even had the bride not been known to them. It is a family run hotel, very efficient and friendly. I would love to go again.The welcome was good the staff very helpful. Only that I had asked for a double room for sole use but got a twin. Not worth making a fuss at the time. Could have piped music in the dining room. The showers in the rooms do not comply with European standards, they went either hot or cold depending on other users in other rooms, very dangerous and very uncomfortable, should be reported to H and Safety executive.Tried to get a drink in the bar in the evening, waited so long we just abandoned the idea.Poor tv in the room. Drinks expensive. Not alot of choice on the restaurant menu but there was an adjoining pub.The food was poor at times with the vegetables being hard and barely cooked. The room was on occasions cold, but it was a very cold time of year...not really seaside holiday weather!. It would be a very good idea to completely refurbish the rooms, however this would not justify a rise in room price.no fridge or mini bar, no bath robes, thin and frayed towels, poor selection of toiletries etc. it is very old world, but it has got lots to other in some ways.

The hotel originated from a farmhouse built in the 1600s and has been continuously developed over the years. One of the hotel's unique features is that, whilst situated on the East coast it faces due-West, overlooking The Wash (one of the largest estuaries in Britain) and giving a perfect view of Norfolk sunsets.

The hotel has a conference and banqueting suite seating up to 130 people.

Whilst the hotel has no ground floor bedrooms, there is a lift to the first floor.

The hotel frequently host wedding receptions and dinner dances on Friday and Saturday evenings. This may result in some rooms being affected by noise until approximately midnight. From Monday 14th July – Sunday 31st August 2025, our hotel restaurant will be serving breakfast only.
