As we were a family group of ten, (six adults and four children) they accommodated our needs very well. We stayed the evening before our flight out for a holiday, parking three cars for 17 days. The standard of food and choice for both adults and children in the restaurant for dinner was very good. Excellent value for money. The meal in the restaurant was a highlight. Very nice staff. Would definitely recommend. Free transfers, free parking (for my 1 day trip) and free internet, nice room, great shower....all for £49. Great place to stay prior to a business trip.
all reviews » The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and a nice size. The bathroom even came with a new, full-size bath tub--- perfect for a candlelight bubble bath. I highly recommend this for couples. Our experience was better then even expected. We got what we needed for an overnight stop and would choose it again - close enough to the airport without any airplane or road noise, convenient transport provided by the venue for the airport and clean, modern and smart accommodation.Excellent service both at hotel and to and from Gatwick airport. Yes our pickup on return, we waited nearly an hour in the freezing cold. when we stayed there a few years back, I flight number was checked by hotel staff and the coach was waiting for us, this time I had to make three calls to the hotel, that is my only fault.The traffic on the street outside was almost unbearable. Kept us up most of the night. Being charged 5 pounds per person for a continental breakfast was a bit outrageous. All we had was coffee and toast!!! Was under the impression that we were walking distance to some sort of towwn center, but it is by no means walking distance to anywhere! Had to take a cab to the nearest pub. Bad shower leakage in bathroom - floor tiles all broken and wonky. Transfer driver did not check our terminal and drove us all to the South when none of us needed to be there!.

The Kemal at the Cambridge Restaurant serves a mouth-watering selection of British and Mediterranean cuisine, specially prepared using only the freshest of ingredients.

After dinner you can relax at the elegant Duke of Cambridge Bar Lounge, with its comfortable leather seats and fresh feel. The look is clean and modern, whilst retaining the quintessentially British period features as befitting a grand building like the Cambridge Hotel Gatwick.

The restaurant is open from 18:00 – 22:00 and the Bar Lounge is open all day until midnight.

Please note that the airport transfer costs GBP 3 per person each way. A continental breakfast is also available for GBP 7 per person, per day and is served between 6.00 - 9.00.

The Cambridge Hotel Gatwick offers a wide range of rooms to suit everyone, from singles to those able to sleep up to 6 people. All come with a private en suite bathroom.

Couples can enjoy wonderfully appointed rooms with spacious bathrooms and some rooms even have super King size beds. Families are well catered for with rooms equipped with a double bed for Mum and Dad, and a sturdy bunk bed for the kids – no fighting over the top bunk though!

A few rooms are available on the ground floor, these must be requested and are on a first come first served basis. The hotel is also able to provide quieter rooms upon request.
