  When we arrived they had no details of our booking, however they behaved in a very professional way and quickly resolved the issue. The sofa bed was then made up within 1/2 hour of our arrival.   A delightful hotel serviced by very friendly and efficient staff giving the impression of a family run establishment. I was particularly impressed to find the heating was left on over night, and not turned off as is so often the case in some hotels. The room was clean, comfortable and looked very nice and fresh. There are a lot of restaurants around about the hotel along with a little shop right across the road.

  The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. I've never had a hotel with a Spa bath! The staff were exceptionally friendly (not unusual for Scotland though) and the breakfast was yummy - diet went out the window!   Although the rooms were just a tad tired they were very clean and the beds were comfy.The breakfast was marvellous and plenty to choose from.Wouldn't go hungry here.
