  Hotel was nice and clean, both public areas and the room. Room more spacious than most. Good leisure facilities. Enjoyable meals. - Lovely hotel with atmosphere and character. Children loved the pool and the outlook of our room was restful. Impressed with Barcelo chain and took brochure for further stays with the company.

  Breakfast was excellent and beautifully cooked. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was central with parking which was great for the shops. Also there was a small but comfortable bar with tv. - Everything.   A real 'getaway from it all' place, with outstanding views.The back gate leads straight onto the Cotswold Way. Owners very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 'Angus' room which was was lovely with great facilities and a lovey super king size bed which was very comfy. The bathroom had a lovely deep bath and a rain shower. They provided information on various outings were always willing to visit and fill us in on background for the area. Perfect location to use as a homebase for travel around the Cotswolds as well as trips to cities nearby. Also, the breakfast choices were superb.
