A real 'getaway from it all' place, with outstanding views.The back gate leads straight onto the Cotswold Way. Owners very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 'Angus' room which was was lovely with great facilities and a lovey super king size bed which was very comfy. The bathroom had a lovely deep bath and a rain shower. We will definately return, and would recommend highly. Our hosts Marian and Clive couldn't be more helpful or solictous of our needs. They provided information on various outings were always willing to visit and fill us in on background for the area. Perfect location to use as a homebase for travel around the Cotswolds as well as trips to cities nearby. Also, the breakfast choices were superb.
all reviews » The owners were very welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet but not far from the hussle and bussle of town. Great views from your window. Rain shower was a nice surprise. Overall a really nice place to stay. We will definately be back!!!. I loved the view from my front of house bedroom. My brother liked his access to the back garden from his bedroom being a smoker. Very comfortable bed and very good welcome from our hosts. Good and frank advice about local resturants. Our stay was amazing from when we entered the building. The owner was so attentive and friendly. The only criticism would be that all be it really nice and good quality the breakfast was slightly to small. The price during Cheltenham Festival was probably inflated but I don't blame them and it won't stop us staying again. This is not a complaint just a comment and if it is the only comment in red then that's not bad at all !!!. There was nothing to complain about!. loved everything. Not too keen on the separate bathroom, next time we stay we would prefer a double room with en-suit. But we didn't book till midafternoon of the day we were due to arrive. Can't think of anything!. A wee niggle was there was a problem with the wifi while we were there. No restaurant. Stepps to climb to front door.
