My partner and I were upgraded and had a wonderful stay in a room with a goregous four poster bed, the bathroom had a lovely jacuzzi bath. The hotel staff were clearly busy but extremely friendly, curteous and welcoming. The hotel restaurant served excellent food and was enjoyed by hotel guests and many locals! The hotel grounds were beautiful.

The location was fantastic, just opposite the Marlowe theatre and around the corner from the High street. Although it is right in the heart of Canterbury, it was very quiet in the room. The decor is very stylish and the bed very big and comfy. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent. A lovely extra touch was the afternoon tea left for us in case we got peckish.

Owners were very friendly . 10 mins to main shops but plenty to eat and drink within 2 mins walk. Having parking was a definite bonus. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection. Deluxe Double was spacious comfortable and clean and had a mini fridge to keep drinks food etc cold. Would def stay there again in if Canterbury
