    We have spent 4 nights in this B&B. We arrived a bit earlier, but this was no problem at all. The location is perfect. Close to the beach, Canterbury, Leeds castle and so much more. There are a lot of places to visit in this area. Ian and Kay did everything to make us feel at home. Breakfast was a joy. Kay will cook you everything you want. Yes the sink in the bathroom is a bit small and y - From the moment we arrived, Ian and Kay did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable! The location is countryside, but only a short drive to Canterbury centre, or better still the Sturry park and ride. The B and B is spotless, new and v comfy bed, room is spacious, breakfast excellent. The local pub is across the road and the food is good and reasonably priced. There is also a tavern close by in Herne, a carvery that sells roasts great food and a great price. If you are looking for a week

    It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State.     It was great for us to return to Canterbury (where we had both studied) Great Hotel and the man that owned it was helpful and made sure everything was perfect for us (even though he had only been open for 3 weeks) Good location just a short drive to Canterbury city centre with lots to do around kent (we loved broadstairs and Dover) Room was comfor... what people say » table and spacious, and he found us a DVD player too! Location is stunning and peaceful and literally a 5 minute drive into Canterbury. Would defiantly stay here again, great value for money and great place to stay.

    Arriving after a long journey, it was wonderful to flop down on the comfortable beds with a cup of tea and prepare ourselves for our trip to Canterbury. Situated between Canterbury and Whitstable, the Amadis B&B is ideally situated for a theatre visit, meeting with friends or shopping till you drop and is also ideally situated for Whistable f... what people say » amous for its oysters. The warmth of the welcome from Dot and Geoff and wonderful and the care with which the rooms were cleane - We liked the friendly atmosphere and the absolute cleanliness of the place. Our hosts, Dorothy, Jeff, and the dog Paddy did their best to welcome and make us feel at home. The breakfast was plenty and very good quality, consisting of fresh fruit, yoghurts and the full English breakfast. We had a lovely time, even though we arrived late at night and spent just one night. We'll definitely recommend this place to our friends. Thank you very much

    I thought the hotel's location on a roundabout may be a problem but in reality it was never an issue. Our room had secondary glazing and was very quiet at night. The hotel was friendly and I was very happy with our choice of location. They had their own parking but there were plenty of public car parks close at hand as well, although we never need... what people say » ed them. The rear of the hotel had a garden area separated from the road by a tall wall and was visually very impressive- it looked as old as the cast - The service in this hotel was the best we have ever experienced, and we travel alot! All members of staff were professional and helpful - attentive to our every need, even anticipating the needs of our group. The hotel was delightful, full of character and the location just 5 minutes walk from the town center was ideal. The breakfast was generously proportioned and there was ample choice.
