The Danescourt Hotel is about a minute's walk from Sandcastle Water Park and has easy access to the trams. Meals from the varied menu are freshly prepared, and bar snacks are served from 14:00. The licensed family bar has a 42-inch plasma TV, music, board games and books. Each bright and comfortable room offers a flat-screen TV and complimentary tea and coffee. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and feature free soaps, shower gels and clean towels daily.

i have stayed in many blackpool hotels and i can say 100% this is the best by far,i don't understand how people on here can give this hotel any less than 10 out of 10, the owners have only been there just 6 months and will bend over backwards to please you,what do people want for this kind of money, the ritz! please ignore the bad reviews you will love it, see you all soon, i'll be back soon xxxx.

the staff were very friendly and helpfull, the rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. were staying here again in august.very friendly and pleasant nice spacious family rooms.Good food,plenty to eat nice and clean.great food clean tidy hotel staff very helpful great value for money will be back. I was upgraded from a basic single to a double en-suite at no extra cost,. The friendliness of the owners and the fantastic breakfast.Great choice of breakfast and very friendly staff. Single table was very small for amount of breakfast involved, especially as I was the only guest on the second morning of my stay, and therefore all the bigger tables were vacant. However, this was the only small fault that I could find during the whole stay.lack of parking. rooms a bit cramped for a double. room we occupied was on the small side and the double bed didn't seem full size. stairs very dark health and safety issue. the beds were uncomfortable and bedroom condiments were not replenished. The room was not clean out, tea bags and milk was not replemished and also the bed was not freshly made up on Monday.

By Car (from the M6):
- Exit the M6at junction 32 and proceed onto the M55.
- Stay on the M55 for about 14 miles and exit at junction 4 (A5230).
- Stay on the dual carriageway following signs for South Shore and turn right at the T-junction.
- Join the promenade and bear right at the 1st pier into Station Road and the hotel is located on the left hand side.
