The staff were very polite and willing to help. The cleanliness in the room was fantastic. Generally, a very pleasent experience and one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Was put in a room on 4th floor but smealt of someone smoking advisedreception and moved straight away. Good Customer care. Extras included like hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Room was very clean, staff were great, would visit again.

We booked 3 rooms, for some reason one of the rooms wasn't allocated, eventually a room was found for the gentleman but it wasn't as good a quality as the other 2. Also the price charged was slightly more than on your website.The elevators are really slow and takes a very long time to go from one floor to another. The lifts. I understand you are refurbishing the hotel so would hope that, when I stay again, the decoration in the actual bedroom will be much improved. problem with room key - no one apologised - I was told it was 'live' and someone did it for me - allowed me to feel rather inadequate. Room service breakfast 25 minutes late, cold, not what I ordered; but this was taken off my bill when I mentioned it (though I would rather have had a good breakfast). paying for parking. room a bit too tiny. the one person that checked me in, I thought was a bit "abrupt", and did not quite explain everything to me in detail, seemed a bit short, but when i asked questions he did help me out but I like on arrival, the check-in personnel tell me where the bar is, where breakfast will be served, where the dining hall is, why they need my credit card details etc etc ? i felt a bit uncomfortable. Outrageous charges for outgoing phone calls.On entering room I wised to make a hot drink while getting ready to go out, there was no milk in room, phoned reception to aske for some to be delivered to room. 90 mins later on leaving the room to go out the milk still had not arrived. Returning late evening the milk had still not been delivered so had to go to reception to pick up. room was small and too hot, lift didnt work properly. Only one lift was working and the other did not stop at all floors which was very concerning Access on foot to and from car park is difficult I would not recommend the hotel until the lifts are working. Room was a bit small as the hotel was round and we were on the inner side the rooms were quite small. stayed in room next to very noisy couple lovemaking until 3 am. the taps, you couldnt just get cold water ended up having to have a very hot bath. My room was on the 5th floor and the noise from the wind around the building was unbearable even though all the windows were shut. Consequently I hardly slept. Heating in the room was too hot, even with the radiator turned off and the window open as much as possible still too hot. Very small and stuffy rooms need updating. Could hear the next door room snoring!. extra cost for parking. bedroom was way to warm. restaurant looked excellant but "expensive". reception slow but in all fairness she was overworked and could have done with some support although it would help if certain customers didnt want to know every detail about the hotel while there was a queue!. needs free easy accesible wi-fi. small rooms. no room temp adjustment the rooms were to hot.
