When I read the reviews on here, I thought this place is too good to be true but it wasn't! I had a beautifully decorated room that was really comfortable and clean, almost forensically clean! The sheets weren't just fresh, they smelled fresh! You can tell that there is a lot of love and attention to detail paid in the service and the layout of the rooms and these seemingly little things make all the difference; for example the plug sockets are conveniently placed, they give you proper pots o.
all reviews » Everything! Amazing b & b in Ayr. The nicest couple! Clean, gorgeous place. Breakfast was phenomenal. Choice of cereals, juices, cheeses, freshly cut fruits, yoghurt, cereal or granola bars, bacon, sausage, eggs anyway you wanted them, toast, croissants, homemade jams, traditional Scottish Breakfast if desired, pot of tea or pot of coffee. Quiet place for sleeping, beds were great and comfy. Beautifuly decorated and coffee tea tray in room with homemade Scotch bread cookies. Very helpful wi. I stayed at Beaches with my father who is 86 years old with very poor mobility. It is a lovely guest house and great location. The owners both Jan & Callum couldn't have done more for us. They even brought tea & shortbread out to my Dad when he was relaxing in their lovely garden. It was possible for my Dad to access the property from the beach side without having to cope with many stairs (just a couple). Although the room was a bit cramped which made it quite difficult for my Dad t. - Really valued and wonderful family hotel at Ayr (I had a relax weekend time with good mood, it just cost £45) -location. it is close to the beach and sea (1 or 2 mins by walk), also near the train station (15mins by walk) - I asked Jan (the owner of the house) about attractions over Ayr by email. Jan replied me detailed and papered magazine for me. (they also told me which restrant is worth to trying to and which street has pubs etc. ) - comfortable bed !! -delicious traditional scottish . This Guest House was fantastic. The rooms and en-suite were decorated to a very high standard and the facilities were excellent. I especially loved the towels as they were extremely soft! Jan, the owner, was really friendly and eagerly helped us with directions to nearby restaurants, bank machines, petrol station etc. The cooked Scottish breakfast she made was the best we have ever had whilst on a trip (and we've sampled a lot)! The location was ideal, a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ayr and. Everything, my wife and I have just stayed for three nights at the beeches what a lovely place as soon as we got there callum pointed out some of the best restaurants, and jan is such a nice friendly person nothing was too much trouble she even got us some tattie scones to take home after I said how nice they were. The rpom we had had a small kitchen which was great and the bathroom was brand new.What can I say about the breakfast FANTASTIC everything you could want and more and the homemade j. We loved absolutely everything about our stay. The owners were extremely friendly and were very happy to recommend places to visit/eat in the area. We were in town for a wedding and they really wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed (i.e. ironing board, hair dressers' appointment, etc..). We stayed at 2 other locations in Scotland during our trip and Beaches was by far our very favourite. The room was immaculate and the bathroom sparkled! Breakfast was delicious and the locat. Arrived early to find our room was ready and we were welcome to check- in. Parking permit issued and Jan was the perfect host giving us all the local information we required for our day/evening/night in Ayr. Excellent restaurant/pub recommendations. Our room was very comfortable, very well stocked with tea/coffee etc. plus lots of bathroom extras. Top breakfast (full Scottish!) and wonderful home-made shortbread. All in all, a wonderful stay at the best Guest House we've visited in gb yet. Many. jan and her husband are very welcoming, and friendly, from the moment we arrived at the beaches hotel, the home made shortbread was the best ive ever tasted and ive tasted a few, lol nothing was too much bother loved the egyptian cotton sheets and duvet the cooked breakfast next morning was huge and welcoming with a pot of tea and toast with 4 different types of jam,freh orange juice apple juice etc...excellent service and jan gave me a bottle of bubbly as it was my birthday will definateley be. I can not recommend Beaches Guest house more. We stayed 5 nights and literally did nt want to leave. Our stay was more than comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was perfect and they couldn't have made us any more comfortable within there guest house. We wanted to explore Scotland during our stay and they helped with their expert knowledge going out of their way providing maps, advise and even finding us the best offers for a spa day! We were upgraded to a huge beautiful room free of charge, and from the moment we arrived until we left the next day, we were made to feel like we were spending a night at our mothers house by the warmth and friendliness of Jan the owner. Every single inch of the guest house was spotless and beautifully presented. The breakfast was also superb. I have stayed in £200 a night rooms all over europe, and 'Beaches' is the best by far. We will be back there whenever we can. This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in - everything is perfect. It is scrupulously clean, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, with lots of choice (including home-made jams), nothing is too much trouble. The room was modern and very comfortable. I have stayed at a few 5* Hotel but this small and friendly B&B beats the lot...I wouldn't go anywhere else. 'Exceptional' is the best word I can think of to describe the Beaches Guest House. The owner - Jan, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The room had a door on to a beautiful garden which gives access to the promenade. The family who run the Beaches are lovely and nothing is any trouble. The choice at breakfast is second to none. This guest house was very clean and confortable,close to both a very good beach and shopping centre with a wide selection of shops and bar/resturaunts. The hosting was second to none could do not do enough for you and breakfast was first class lovely home cooked food and preserves will be back.. This was an excellent location close to the beach with a lovely outdoor garden. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast awesome. I wasn't able to stay for longer(other commitments) I shall definately book again when I am in the area next. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! except coming home. To find any fault with this accommdation would be very difficult. In our view this place sets a very high standard in guest houseodation. That I only stayed for one night!.
