Incredible place under railway bridge which looks like a film set from a movie shot according to some Jules Verne book. Apart from the breathtaking view from the hotel window , the whole place has a welcoming feel , with attentive staff making it a lovely stay . The bar area was lively and the meals were good value for money . The rooms have been refurbished and the bathroom fittings are all brand new and modern. The location is ideal as it is 5 mins walk , albeit up a steep brae , to the railway station with frequent trains into the capital . If you liked the film Local Hero then you will love this hotel !

The price was nice and the sleep was good: these are main criteria for a good stay. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!

the staff were very helpful. they gave us a very big room and it was on the first floor which was very helpful considering i'm pregnant and had two young children with me.there is a bar in the hotel which allowes children in it so if you fancy a drink you can relax with your children. The attention of the staff to make sure you were settled in.
The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm.
I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use.
They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh.

We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in.
