it was clean, good location for shopping and the train station. we went for the fringe festival. we booked two room and had four in our party, the snooze box is in a great location to go to the gay bars, castle and dungeons in Edinburgh. the rooms are small but do what they need to do with a TV and wet room, they had heating and air conditioning.

We loved the location which meant we did not have to use public transport. Parking was great, bed was very comfortable as was the bed linen and towels. Everything you need is there. We een got a free tea and coffee in the morning. Excellent. Staff were particuarily helpful and welcoming.

A bit pricy for a generic hotel without any character, but clear and
comfortable. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride
(10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very
busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating
options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for
dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!

I really enjoyed my stat at Cramond Mill. Elaine is a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way for her guests and I could have asked for a better place to stay. Edinburgh is easily accessible via the bus that stops at the top if the street and it is also so very handy for the airport which is only a 20 minute drive away. Nestled next to a picturesque stream where the locals go fly fishing, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother for them. David was our first point of contact and Colin (the older one...lol) was fantastic with my grand-daughter. Meals were excellent, there was a wide variety of drinks. The security locks in the corridors made us feel extra safe and the room we were in was very comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. Overall I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this experience. Will Definitely be back. Thank you.

Incredible place under railway bridge which looks like a film set from a movie shot according to some Jules Verne book. It feels so very Victorian and British like no other place we have been to in Scotland. Apart from the breathtaking view from the hotel window , the whole place has a welcoming feel , with attentive staff making it a lovely stay . The bar area was lively and the meals were good value for money . The rooms have been refurbished and the bathroom fittings are all brand new and modern. The location is ideal as it is 5 mins walk , albeit up a steep brae , to the railway station with frequent trains into the capital . If you liked the film Local Hero then you will love this hotel !
