Arrived into hotel after a long flight late at night with 2 young children. Nicole was so genuinely helpful and caring and got all our check-in smoothly done. All our tiredness & tension was alleviated and had a great nights sleep. Next morning at breakfast Karen took care of us brilliantly - nothing was too much bother. Claire at check-out got a taxi for us and got us installed all four of us plus buggy and cases! Will use this hotel again - even if I'm not using the airport!!.
all reviews » A bit pricy for a generic hotel without any character, but clear and comfortable. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride (10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!. The hotel is new, near the airport and our stay was perfect! The breakfast had everything we could want, the staff was very nice and the room very confortable and spacy! We slept perfectly! The toilet had a bathtube and the rooms had half an hour of free internet. If u needed more you could pay 3 pounds for 24 hours. This facility offered everything possible in convenience for the traveler. The bed was big and comfy and the room had every amenity from an ironing board and iron to coffee and tea making utensils to 3 mirrors in the room. The price was certainly right and we would use these Inns again when on the road. It stated on letsbookhotel.com site that they had a shuttle to airport at cost of £1.50 each way, this is not the case. it cost £10 each way to and from hotel to Airport. this is not a convenient hotel for airport unless you have a car, the Hilton or the Quality Inn are much closer. The staff were exceptionally friendly and consciencous in their work and attitude towards guests. We had used the Marriott when previously travelling from Ed airport and they could learn a lot from your quality of service. Pay the staff more or you will lose them. Although hotel had been open for nearly 2 years it had been kept in very clean and tidy condition. Nothing broken or damaged that we could see. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. Car park well lit with room to manoeuvre.Will definitely use this facility again. Very impressed with the staff welcome and all the staff were particularly nice. They had an excellent attitude. We used the hotel to stay overnight to get an early flight out of Edinburgh to Billund, DK. The rooms was very comfortable and absolutely a choise next time we want to stay overnigth to early flights - maybe also in other occasions. This hotel was good value for money. It had very friendly staff, comfy bed and meals. The room and bathroom were a good size.They had an arrangement with a taxi company for a fixed rate to the airport. We would use them again. It was clean, fresh, well cared for, very new I suspect. It felt as if we were staying in an expensive hotel, the breakfast was splendid, room was really nice. All in all an excellent experience. Never had a problem with Premier Inn Newbridge. The staff have always been very helpful & polite, breakfast is always delicious & the room has always been clean & tidy. We only stayed there because it was really close to the airport and we needed to get up early. ( It cost us 8 pounds with taxi to get there) The room was clean, nice and big. The hotel rooms are comfortable and spotless. What really makes a difference though is the customer service, the staff could put those employed at many a 5* hotel to shame. Nice quick check in. This Premier Inn is out of the way in a quite location so this is why I like staying there. It is close to areas we need to visit as well so a prime location. Not so obvious at first how to find it. No complaints. The bed was a bit too hard. They had "different" pillows in the room to choose from but they didnt really seem that different. I have negative coments to make. Although the aircraft landing at the airport were so close you can almost rad the pilots name badge the noise from the aircraft did not intrude into the bedrooms or public areas. Early closing time at the bar. Probobly for the best though. There is nothing really I do not like but I do think it would add to the experience if hot chocolate, biscuits and still water was provided in the rooms. I would not mind paying extra for this convenience if need be. The restaurant did not serve meals 24/7. Since, it is a hotel close to the airport it would be welcome to have the opportunity to eat at late times. There was no thought to the international travellers that didn't speak English. Even the menus should have been translated into different languages. Recommend Spanish, French and Italian. Staff could perhaps have a basic knowledge in these languages would be an advantage and so nicefor the many tourists that use the hotel from abroard. Difficult to find hotel if you driving a car. Couldn't spot the location on GPS.Postcode doesn't exist and the coordinations on letsbookhotel.com are not accurate. The only complaint was that the room was too hot. Hotel was very busy and the dining room was over stretched and unable to keep up with orders. position of reception desk(pedestal) resulted in the entrance to the bar being blocked when more than one guest was being checked in. nothing. Nothing. music in the dining room during breakfast. I couldn't work out how to set an alarm for the morning. I didn't like either of the pillows but appreciated the thought. Bit tricky to find even with sat nav ( as directed by web site ). Nothing to not like. only 30 min of free wifi conection. dificult to find. There's nothing interesting around. nothing. Beds for the kids wasn't made on arrival one of the extra beds for the kids was very hard and uncomfortable, you could feel the springs inside the matress. My youngest girl couldn't sleep well and felt sore and stiff the next morning. Very unusual for her... Nothing. I did not like you call it the Premier Inn at Edinburgh airport when it is a £10 taxi ride from the airport!!!!!! I did not like on my second night that I ordered a steak which was particularly tough only to be told my the manager on duty that they were having issues with thier supplier. Why was this not brought to my attention when I ordered the steak so I had the option of changing my mind ruined what was otherwise a good stay. Windows don't open - keeps the noise out but have to rely on aircon. Nothing, really. Had to take taxi from airport. Don't know if local bus would have stopped nearby?. Everything was fine.
